I've never done this. The few times i've dropped hints to my close female friends to test the waters I was treated to a barrage of repulsion. In my experience, most civilian females just think that street prostitutes are gross.
I went out last night sometime after 11pm and cruised for two hours, saw nothing but one possible coming out of Denny park and she was not in hooker mode. A real hottie, too - tall, thin with curves, dressed in all black and a real looker with dirty-blonde hair tied back. Nice face and she looked clean. She could barely walk in a straight line and staggered her way across Dexter where I intercepted her at the corner of Dexter/Denny. I asked her if she needed a ride while I waited at the stoplight and she ignored me to holler over at the rough pimp-looking dudes on the opposite corner. I circled the block and saw her walking with them, one of the guys looked back and gave me a fierce look. I cruised AAA and happened to see them a third time at the Shell station - the guys went inside and left her to sit on the side of the building. Thinking "what the hell", I cruised up the alley and stopped to ask her if she needed a ride again. She just looked at me and shook her head "no" again. She was so hot - my hodar was really going off and I was mentally kicking myself for barely missing her in the Denny Park area. She did look very familiar as if i've seen her face on the net. Next time.
I decided to go up Rainier because it seems like Rainier can be a pretty good cruise on Thursday nights. Cops EVERYWHERE, multiple vehicles pulled over on the entire stretch from I-90 to Henderson. Saw the usual blonde-haired BSW working her corner near Estelle but I have yet to pick her up. I finally went back up Rainier to the Shell station near Dearborn to get some fuel and was approached by a tall BSW who begged me for a ride. I've learned that when a woman blows a fuse - this can be any female including your mother - the best thing to do is erupt into full-on hysterics and you'll win every time. I asked her if she'd rather I yell at her and she calmed down and started laughing herself. I finally decided that we were done and I just wanted to get her the hell out of my car. I drove her back near to the Shell station on Rainier and we spotted the same guy she was running from earlier. She desperately asked me if I could bring her somewhere else and I smiled and told her that I didn't think so. She didn't like me for that, but I laughed again and dumped her out to fend for herself. Jeez, all she had to do was be cool to me and fulfill her agreement, instead I dumped her off to deal with a REAL asshole. Serves her right.

From what I've read, building a case against pimps is extremely difficult especially since 99.9% of the SW's won't testify against them. So if they target the SW and hurt her business, in effect they hurt the pimps bottom-line. Also since the pimps hurt business and drive away customers, in effect the pimps are working for the cops.

I had a girlfriend once that loved to cruise around the AAA and gawk at SW's with me. I was taking her home from a movie one time and we had to drive through the AAA to get back onto the viaduct. I said with a startled voice: "these girls look like hookers." She agreed and suggested we drive around a bit. It became a Saturday night ritual for us on the way home from the movies. One would think that there is other charges the cops could nail the pimps with. I am sure that most of them have criminal records and some occasional warrants as well. There is other charges such as harassment and or assault.
