I don't have any intel on this place, but as an example, it's not difficult to imagine pitching a tent while she running her hands on your belly, along with anything else that ensues.

The owner was busted for tax evasion over a year ago, so any of your info is already in the IRS hands. If they haven't moved on it by now, chances are they aren't that interested. As far as screening the providers, I haven't heard of any instances of LE posting fake ads with RS2 K.

I trust the reviews on the other popular review board with a grain of salt. I trust members here for solid intell. Obviously you do too.

Even agencies posting ads must provide verifiable I'd for any people appearing in the ad. Appropriately, LE is focused on advertising sites that fail to vet their advertisers, and therefor recklessly contribute to the exploitation of minors. I don't like what's happening with Backpage, mostly because I think it's a futile strategy to block a site. But I'm willing to bet that most of the users of this site have occasionally been concerned about an ad or two at Backpage. I don't typically post so this will probably seem like some kind of advertisement. Hope it isn't taken that way. Just trying to give credit where credit is due. Many years ago, I recognized that RS was doing things the way things should be done. Great respect.

So I am now looking at advertising L's legit / nohe shop in Buffalo Grove. Business alternates between slow and busy (LOL). You guys know the place, but if you don't let me know. So here are my questions and why I'm posting the question to the forum.

Along with other, more conventional sources like Google, Yelp, Facebook, Twitter, and other Spa listings, I wanted to consider Craigslist and Backpage. My biggest concern with those two sources are (1) effectiveness and (2) appeal to folks who will be wanting extras. I want to make sure that it is clear from the AD that is its professional place. But I realize nobody believes the statements in those ads anyway. I will not put L's picture online (of course) and I also will not put fake pictures online either. All advice and suggestions are welcome. Thanks in advance. Bob.

Yes, Groupon. My American wife uses them. Maybe she will show up one day! But seriously, I am considering Groupon. However, believe it or not, some of our best customers are Forum members who want a legit massage. They can't believe how strong such a tiny woman can be. I was trying to figure out a way to identify ourselves to members in those Ads. Thanks again. Bob.

You might want to ensure that your Ad shows the pics of the facility and location map instead of MT's pics. Also, using more of a pro-massage technique speak instead of suggestive language will deter any HE seekers. LOL.

I know I've always left happy when I visit the on in the CL ad, so I'm not sure if there's really any way you can guarantee that people will believe what you post. As stated before Groupon might be the best, but if you've got to worry about your american wife showing up then that would probably cause additional problems. Maybe try advertising that male masseur available also, then have it be their 'day off' if anyone calls or stops by? I think that would help deter HE seekers.

BUT only if you want 1 time customers ,99% of the people that use the coupons are deal chasers only.

and in business you want return customers ,a one timer is not worth it plus you take a loss while customer and groupon gain

One of the fastest ways to grow the business is trying to gain some social media mileage. Since your shop is legit go ahead and claim your business on Facebook, Yelp, Google+, Twitter, etc. This means you will also create a page for the business on these sites. Next is you want to get some positive customer reviews on these sites. Especially Yelp, Google+ reviews are very helpful for local searches. You might want to give 10% discount to Customers who provide reviews on social media to add up ratings fairly quickly.

Good advice. I am having a beef with Yelp. Their "software" keeps removing reviews of our actual customers. Apparently, people who don't write frequent reviews are considered "suspicious". I told the Yelp guy their reviews favor teenage girls, vs real reviews. Here's our YELP page. You can see 4 5-star reviews not recommended. I know I need to improve the page itself, but still I'm unwilling to pay these guys a couple hundred bucks a month for ADs when they bury genuine reviews. If anybody wants to write a review it would be appreciated. I'm also going to do the Facebook, and Google stuff. Thanks again. Bob.
