I hate to hear about the parlors shutting down. I was in the area a couple of weeks ago and was able to swing by yucca and visit Cindy. I like yucca because the prices are reasonable. Cindy gave a good massage and allowed some utc roaming during the flip. Hopefully the next time I'm able to get back in town the parlors will be reopened.

Fellas
That's shitty! I have to come down again with the ol lady for a convention in August, now I don't even want to go! The AMPs were the only reason I was going with her. Hopefully things change soon! Stay safe my friends.

Threatened to close
I originally added this to the discussion of this topic in the Charleston group, thought I'd share it here too.
I have heard in the past about instances where a private group of "do gooders" hire a PI who goes to the AMP gets serviced and then reports it to the Police. Often it's a retired cop who does the dirty work. That would explain why no arrests were made but also sounds like a bit of a scam, if the shops just refused to close what could they do since there was no provable criminal activity? This is harassment at it's worst.
You are correct in your assessment, however the spas were not the only ones being threatened. I understand the property owners who lease the properties to the spas to operate in received letters demanding they immediately revoke the leases for the spas or the property owner would be legally liable for providing housing or dwelling for the purpose of prostitution which is a felony offense. Because of the "felonious activities" alleged to be occurring in these properties the property owners can revoke the lease without any legal recourse from the spas but will certainly face many legal expenses, fines and even jail time if found non-compliant. This isn't going away and these spas will not be back until at least after the next election, and won't happen then either if the same mayor gets elected and the same city council and county commissioners get re-elected. This is really little to do with law enforcement and more to do with censorship and control from the wrong people in office. Law enforcement is carrying out the orders from the mayor and city and county commissioners. Maybe a good debate question we should be asking before the next election is "How do you feel about adult entertainment that takes place in private behind closed doors by individuals who are well above legally consenting age and who choose willingly to participate in said activities"?

Landlords

That said if I was the landlord it'd scare the shit out of me. The sad thing is they push these women into the shadows and much more danger. I have been frequenting massage parlors since the mid-70's and have never seen anything to indicate human trafficking and if I did I'd report it. I know it's a real problem but I think politicians and LE is using it as an excuse to be force their morals on everyone else instead of doing the hard work of cracking down on the real criminals.

Oldman
Agree with you oldman, no matter what Polaris or other sanctimonious groups spout about statistics the truth is that arrests for human trafficking just don't hold up in court in reference to AMPs simply because AMPs are not a venue for trafficking. Ironic that Myrtle Beach exists because of tourism. AMPs do nothing to stifle tourism but actually add to it. In the past years I've dropped over $150,000 at Myrtle but it's over for me. My vacations have always been spiced up a bit by indulging myself with some of the local flavor. I will continue to indulge myself but not at Myrtle. If things lighten up then I will reconsider.

Samu Spa to open later today. Girls are scared and running. So you may have to take a number.
All indications are after this weekend pickings will be even slimmer.

All is possible for anyone at the right price. Share your experience with me if you too had FS there. PM me if necessary.

To the top cop in Horry county, using the property owners with threats worked, the arrests of these women in these parlors didn't work its prostitution giving a guy a happy ending in some cases full sex, then the three strikes law didn't work so go after the property owners and after reading most of the letters that the spa owners got its very interesting actually who they are, some have been very good to the spa owners letting then get there belongings out, but several have been butt holes changing locks on doors, not letting them get there belongings out without paying in some cases what's left on the lease or at least half, so a lot are just leaving, it don't seem quite fair, but they have no where to turn its the old story when you got them down step on there chest and make them pay, there profession is the oldest in the world, these gals are just offering a NON violent service to those guys for most part that are neglected at home, M. B. Police stated that they had seen no signs that human trafficking existed here thankfully hopefully our great law enforcement men and women can concentrate on real crime in Horry county, the gals are leaving but as Arnold said they will be back some day, just saying Roush.

I guess Wilmington is still open? Any chance some of these AMPs will relocate to route 17 over the state line into NC. Lots of places to rent there.
