Leaving tomorrow, is anything open??
Keep you posted. Glad I travel a bit because this might really suck here. Feel like I live in Bible thumping Mississippi.
On the North the end there is Oasis Spa, Yuki Spa, AA Massage, Samu Spa all open.
For how long who knows but as of now they are open. I would guess at best there would be limited service.
Maybe others are. I See Hong massage is closed.
I need my f / s places. I'm going hunting today, is anywhere still open for now. No 544 spa, ace, k spa. I don't know anywhere else to have fun. S. O. S!
How can the county call a massage place a "public nuisance" if they're haven't been any prior arrests for illegal activity? I'm doubting letters got sent to the places in Mall's where they do chair massages for all to see. Asking for a friend.

They're offering to tell the stores to close in 10 days and stay close for one year and there are no.
Repercussions or don't have to go to trial. Nice of them to want to save the tax.
Payer money on trials and paperwork.
The worst thing is it the girls that work get wind of this and they run.
Next worst thing is they sent these letters to the landlords and the landlords.
Start eviction process.

My thoughts and questions on this "public nuisance" excuse are in line with yours. I had to google it to get the exact sense of it. To me it's more of a thing about if I play loud music out back every night past midnight my neighbors would use this law to make me turn it down but this deal with the AMPs appears to portray them as a negative moral influence on the neighborhood. I wonder who made that call. Could be the "human trafficking" excuse is getting a little dated and they (LE or whoever) just needs another ploy. I always thought it added to the neighborhood. I know it made me enjoy my vacations in Myrtle Beach a little better. Hell, maybe I'll just spend my vacation money elsewhere. I'm a little bored with 3 or 4 weeks at the beach every year for the past forty years any way.
Question hopefully someone can answer, a while back may be 3 or 4 weeks ago there were a couple reviews on the massage therapist at the above location, for the life of me I cannot find anything now. Can anyone point me in the right direction or give me some information for this therapist would be greatly appreciated.
Also what is the latest on the nuisance issue and the local AMPs? Is this just the beginning of a complete shutdown of them all?
As always thank you.
Will just chase them to hotels and condos like the crackdown on AMPs in Northern Virginia a few years ago. All that did was raise prices but at least the health dept did check the AMPs out once and a while.

As always thank you.
But it's weird. Stopped in a regular venue yesterday and got told about the letter, etc. Proceeds with covering me in towels and a barely touching rub. Asked for $ back and left. She returned it to me happily. Proceeded to another place where I had success before, but not this time. Gents. I think we are done for awhile. PM me if anyone has success anywhere.
It never fails! I guess the fun is over for a while.
I know Anna Massage got a notice too so it looks like more will close soon.
Was open today at least for now anyways. China doll was open also. Don't know about foot massage.

Myrtle has lost most of it's strip clubs the last 10 years and now most of the rub places. And they wonder why the golf tourism industry is suffering so bad. Men go to Myrtle for golf and some good old fashioned adult fun. Now, most of the adult fun is gone.
I originally added this to the discussion of this topic in the Charleston group, thought I'd share it here too.
I have heard in the past about instances where a private group of "do gooders" hire a PI who goes to the AMP gets serviced and then reports it to the Police. Often it's a retired cop who does the dirty work. That would explain why no arrests were made but also sounds like a bit of a scam, if the shops just refused to close what could they do since there was no provable criminal activity? This is harassment at it's worst.
