Once you get into Europe, particularly eastern countries, the scene (online, bars, whatever) is aplenty with guys who could never get laid in the US to start with, but traveled there to become victim of lots of Russian or similar or expats of related zones, etc. And to be honest and fair, if were in a place where I wasn't getting what I wanted here, the allure of all those amazing looking ruskie-vaggies would be tempting, so I get it. But in that environment it doesn't surprise me when someone gets rinsed in a town they don't know well, where she knows everyone and is in on the take.

That particular scenario is just far removed from what I do. As discussed here, I never recommend letting the girl pick the restaurant, for a number of reasons. First, choosing where to eat for those you provide for is a dominance thing, so always have control of that. It's like driving a car is in control, never let an SB pick you up in her ride -- being the driver creates a psychological scenario in the favor of the driver. I've actually traveled with a few SBs. You definitely have to know them first, and I mean more that just between the sheets. I'm single, so while I've done my share of one-and-dones, I really search for intelligent babies that actual like to go on dates, so I knew them pretty well. Sometimes it's too much to pass up, when you meet one and get the fuck of your life and then she asks if she can stay overnight with no mention of additional allowance, and next thing you know you've been banging her free several times a day for the last few days.

But, while I have had some great experiences there, I have also had cases where the "true colors" start to emerge after a couple of days and I have to come up with an exit strategy. And I've had cases where I could tell right away it was nobody I wanted in my room unsupervised while I slept, and had to come up with a plan to get her out of the room and on the road fast.

I assume my radar for this sort of thing has been effective, because I've never had someone steal and run or anything like that. I've also managed to hide my true identity, for example making sure anything with my name on it is locked in the hotel safe when I sleep.

So I would never deter someone from doing from same as long as you can do it safely and carefully. However, planning a trip with someone you don't know well and sharing a room with them is probably a bad idea in the first place, even if its not an SB. So for me, mixing that in any capacity with business travel just seems like a bad idea.
