With you, the OP, and myself, that makes 3 of us that she's meeting on Saturday. Plus the guy who is scheduled for Sunday. She's going to be a busy girl this weekend. I'm not sure what to make of it. The texting seems real. No sign of scam or GPS. I guess we're all waiting for the scam to reveal itself.

So she's gone from "never done this before" and "a bit nervous" to scheduling 3 meets in a day and at least one the next day. And you have to assume that the guys on this board are a fraction of the guys she's talking to. Odds that this is real have just dropped dramatically. That could be because of how I vet them before the first date, or with how I come across to them (not the type of personality that would be a good candidate for their victim profile).

But more than anything I think it's just that for a girl to get all dolled up and go to the time and effort (and transportation) expense of meeting for dinner, it would not be worth it just for them to get some free food.

So for me at least, the dinner scam is a non issue.
