After further digging, the lady was charged not with public indecency, but loitering for prostitution and drug possession. She is currently awaiting trial in jail since she cant come up with the $3500 cash for bail. I guess her talents dont warrant her attorney paying that.

She isn't street smart, she should have hidden the drugs under the seat, then he would have taken the fall for that too.

This raises the question, isn't barter legal? I am sure she was just paying off attorney's fees. (That's being sarcastic)

Still not a good thing for anyone, especially a public defender. They can argue that they became involved after he defended her the first time.

This is exactly why I don't pick them up.

But I have had a girl say she doesn't want to deal with me because I want to hide in dark places, and a car is safer, then say she would do me in the porta potty that was on the curve of warsaw. She said she believes that skulking around to find places makes it more 'hot' and to that I said that's why you choose dark places, and be aware of your surroundings. But, you want to take a chance of walking out of a porta potty as a cop or UC passes. And mosquitos which are a problem with outside dates, imagine the ones landing on the excrement in the potty biting you in places. Two separate people can easily disband after the deed. It's always worked. Also every time a girl declines an outside date, I find a better looking one that will.

Also this guy got the benefit of the doubt on his charge. you wouldn't. If drugs are found and the girl doesn't fess up, which isn't likely, good bye car, it was used in commission of a felony. He got a favor that you won't.

If anything, the courts will look at all the sites popping up in foreign countries that quickly replace the takedowns in the USA And just figure it's a stupid law to begin with that doesn't really accomplish anything.

The best way to fight bonafide sex trafficking is good ole detective work, like the old days. Taking down websites seems like lazy law enforcement, and ineffective at that.

I have seen UC cars follow someone and call for a marked cruiser to stop a vehicle. If you observe (window shop for awhile) you will notice the UC cars. I felt I had to chime in here. I believe that although A2 is completely right, legalization will not happen in the majority of the country for several reasons. First, women use availability of sex to control their husbands. If a married guy wants to get laid, he often must cater to his wifes whims. That being said, women will and do raise hell anytime a politician wants to decriminalize or legalize sex. And they are 50% of the voters. Next, the churches, although their influence is lessening due to increasing education of people to baloney fables they are based on, (no offense to you believers out there), will fight such efforts tooth and nail. The reason for that is that religions use access to sex to control their believers, I. E. , if you want to have sex, and you don't want it to be a "sin," then you must be married. And if you want to be married then you must be a member. And to be a member you have to share our beliefs. And on it goes. The whole thing is you can't have sex if you're not conforming with our requirements. And the churches still have considerable (and I might add unconstitutional, in my opinion) influence over the politicians. Especially in the more rurl areas.

And, A2, with all due respect, when has truth ever mattered to a politician?

I actually know one of the girls and her drug dealer accompanist, she set it up and he did the killing, however, she is facing the murder charges along with him As it seems now they have discovered several murders these two committed. These two I know of aren't the only ones, there are quite a few in the hamilton county justice center that were doing this, and a few that haven't been caught yet. These girls use list crawler and any site they can.

Upon further examination it appears that these are warrants issued and they have not been arrested. And if they were they would not have been bailed out already.

They didn't have mugshots show up, so don't look to have visited their uncle again. But they'll also be easy pickings if they advertise, since the cops just need to show up and exercise the warrants.

6 men arrested today in prostitution sting in Hamilton County. I cannot tell where it happened, if it was on the streets or hotel. Anybody see where it went down let us know. They were charged with LOITERING TO ENGAGE IN SOLICITATION leaves me to believe it was on the street because of the LOITERING part.

Looks like things are heating up for Ohio to have a Registry for convicted Johns. Copied this from the Columbus Dispatch.

In a bid to use shame to deter the purchase of sex, Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost and a group of lawmakers want to post the names and photos of convicted "johns" and pimps in an online registry.

"Never underestimate the power of shame as a human motivator," Yost said Wednesday afternoon in joining four lawmakers to unveil soon-to-be-introduced legislation targeting human trafficking.

"Basic economics works under the premise of supply and demand, and right now we have a demand problem in Ohio," Yost said. "Our goal is to reduce the demand and in return rescue victims from this modern-day slavery. Making that a reality starts by unmasking and penalizing those who buy sex or profit from human trafficking. ".

Sen. Tim Schaffer, are-Lancaster, said his bill will include a $190,000 two-year appropriation for Yost's office to maintain a public, online registry of those convicted of buying and promoting the purchase of sex from prostitutes.

Court officials would report convictions, with procedures in place to accommodate appeals of convictions and prevent the posting of names and photos until cases are resolved, Yost said. Florida recently enacted the first online registry of pimps, "johns" (those who hire a prostitute for sex) and sex traffickers, he said. Names and photos would be purged from the registry after five years.

Reps. Jena Powell, are-Arcanum; Rick Carfagna, are-Genoa Township, and Cindy Abrams, are-Harrison, will introduce companion legislation in the House.

One bill would increase criminal penalties for repeat soliciting offenses and another would create a new crime targeting pimps: knowingly receiving financial proceeds for sex acts committed by prostitutes.

The buying and selling of sex would be separated as crimes, with those convicted of soliciting prostitutes facing a mandatory 30-day jail sentence for a second offense and a mandatory 60-day sentence for third and subsequent convictions. Most men who purchase sex seldom do much jail time, the state officials said. The crime would remain a first-degree misdemeanor punishable by a maximum of six months in jail.

The bill also would require offenders to pay for and receive "john school," a type of counseling, Yost said.

A new offense of procuring money tied to prostitution will be sought in a bid to help make it easier to prosecute those who promote or compel prostitution. The first offense would be a first-degree misdemeanor, with a second conviction a fourth-degree felony punishable by up to 18 months in prison and a third offense a third-degree felony carrying up to three years in prison.
