I hadn't been to TLC in a while so I stopped in (despite the warnings) last week. If you are uncomfortable around animals the place will make you very unhappy. I am not certain they are pets, might be dinner for later on. The paper on table was sanitary but uncomfortable. The late 30-early 40's masseuse was much prettier than the Grandma that opens the door. Really good covered BJ, FS, finished with another BJ. Overall not great, but does get the job done. Your level of esthetic tolerance will determine how fun your date is, but things work as promised at TLC.

But if the donation is the same as other places with much better service, well, unless you really want to go somewhere with small furry creatures scurrying about while having a (questionable) good time, probably better to just visit another town with better reviewed locations that don't include a wildlife exhibit.

I generally indulge in the hobby in Grand Rapids and sometimes Hartford, so I'm not as familiar with the Kalamazoo offerings, but I thought TLC had been reported as being just another DIY place. In general tho- be aware that-.
Facility Sucks (besides wildlife), Mama is Loud Insulting & Nasty.
Providers Don't Stay Long & are Usually quite a bit Older.
Never Warm & Welcoming.
The Pricing for Service donations is a "free for all"/ All Over the board- right Up To GPS Prices.
Could very well Leave frustrated or Ripped Off.
Way Back I was a Weekly Regular.
Stopped many moons ago when All the Above crap Started.
Just IMO & Experience- YMMV always.

It might not be in the kzoo city limits. Which might be why it has survived this long. Not sure about that though. I live west of kzoo but I would drive to Jackson before going to TLC. Spring and Happy also much better options. Sun Spa in Michigan City is alot like TLC. Years ago it was a good option. Not now. We are pretty fortunate to have the BC and Jackson spas in this state.

I agree that given the situation, TLC perhaps has survived because of being outside city limits.
However, back in their good days they were busted & closed down.
That was during period of time that they were worth patronizing.
LEO got them In a "sting", busted them, was publicized & shut down for appx 6 months (as memory serves).
Just some background.
Don't know now how they even stay open.
The "TLC" was lost from there years ago IMO.

Thanks for the clarification on TLC offering FS. I know reports aren't good and I don't plan to sample it. But I'm always trying to learn and know about different options. I haven't made it to BC or Jackson yet, but plan to soon. But my travels take me through Kalamazoo fairly often. I've had some nice stops at Lotus, but as we know, the menu is limited. I make it to GR about once a month and have had some great times there, but as far as MPs or AMPs, while there are plenty of good options for the standard finish, there really aren't that many that offer FS--just a few and sometimes scheduling can be a challenge. There are escorts of course, but it's less hassle to be able to walk in an MP and get what you need than texting back and forth to try to set something up and then walking into a sometimes questionable incall location. So, like I said, just trying to learn. I guess I need to make that drive to BC soon. Thanks again.

If I recall, not long after my first time there, someone posted a similar report as yours. I'm not sure what the difference is or why that happens. It's possible you got someone different I guess and I have heard of one report that a guy had a different provider than I've seen, but the lady I've seen seems to be there night and day and it's been the same one each time I've gone. My first time there, she was nice and friendly and the massage was pretty good. There wasn't really a question as to what I wanted and she didn't seemed surprised or upset that's what I was after, but she did take a bit of convincing because it seemed that she was encouraging me to DIY, but I just told her "no, you do it" and said, "I want you to do it" when she seemed confused. But that's all it took. However, once she started, it was on. I began to rub her ass some OTC and to this day I still haven't made it inside those incredibly tight yoga pants nearly all AMP providers seem to wear. But once I started rubbing her some, she used her free hand to pull up her shirt and her bra and literally put my hand on her boobs (which are actually bigger than they look from outside of the shirt). So a I'd say up top full roaming is allowed, but down below, OTC roaming is allowed. I waited about 3-4 months before going back and the second trip was similar--nice treatment, nice massage, had to convince her slightly to do the HE. Since then, I've tried not to wait as long between visits and she seems to remember me. The menu hasn't expanded any, but there's no debate at the HE any more and she's more enthusiastic about it. There are definitely hotter providers out there who get fully comfortable and I go for those when I can. But if I know I'm going to be near Hartford and have the time and the money, I try to stop and have enjoyed my visits there.

It's too far to go to have them busy. In the last 4 trips there I have seen 2 different providers (the same one 3 times and once with the other) Only once have I not had some level of UTC roaming. However, I have never left not fully satisfied.

Looking for places near Kalamazoo / Portage. I've been to lotus. I'd go back but looking for something with a little better looking ladies. I know beggars can't be choosers. I have always done the 60 minutes and called ahead. The only strategy on my part is that Hartford is a hike and if I am going to be in that area, I want to know I can get in. I also agree. I don't think she writes anything down. However, I did have an experience where another monger took my slot and she looked at the number in her recents and compared to my burner number. The other monger got booted out (sorry if it was anyone reading this! However, if you haven't gotten anywhere after a couple of shots. I would take my business elsewhere.

I only know that another provider is there or was there from other reports. Because I've gone at different times, day, night, etc. And it's always the same woman. But the short, petite provider who wears the vest is still there. In fact, I saw her earlier today. But for anyone interested, she does take the vest off once the massage stars. That's about all she takes off, though she does allow UTC roaming up top and OTC roaming all over. I don't want to sound like I'm white knighting for Hartford. There are better places out there. I just happen to be passing through there fairly regularly b / c of my job, so I've stopped there several times. But the times I've been there have been pretty good and I've left happy. As always, YMMV.

In a recent visit to Lotus, I drew Lisa, an attractive middle aged woman. Good massage and good customer service. I would repeat with Lisa.
The Kalamazoo massage scene is not as good as Grand Rapids, Battle Creek and Jackson, but Lotus is one of the better AMPs in Kalamazoo.
Recently visited Lotus. What can I say that hasn't already been said? It was good. Not earth-shattering, but good. The provider was playful and knew what she was doing. I didn't get her name. I should have because it was my first time seeing her, but I just wanted to relax and enjoy the experience without much chit chat and she was OK with that. I did hhr for $50 and was slightly more generous than just matching the door fee with my tip. You know, Old Faithful isn't the biggest or the best geyser in Yellowstone, but it's the most famous because it's dependable and goes off pretty much like clockwork, which makes it great for tourists. Sometimes you just need something that you can count on to be like you expect it to be. That's Lotus. I was trying to save up for a trip to GR with more offerings both in terms of providers and menu, but the urge won out. Oh, well. Be safe and as always, YMMV. --RJ.

She provides a very good massage. Encourages DIY but not much more, in my experience.

Friendly, relaxing atmosphere, clean.
Visited Sage St also last week, no extra but allowed DIY if you like. Decent massage, friendly, and I did like the exclusiveness of their parking.
Haven't tried Lotus since the month they opened (long time ago), planning on trying this week after the decent reviews.

Your local massage lover checking in. We are supposed to be getting another AMP in Kalamazoo. It has been in the works for the last three months, but no info on an open date. What I know so far is that it will be on Westnedge between Milham and Cork St. So, this will make seven AMP's in our area. My hope is that this new place will not be run by the people who run Mei Li East & West, Asian massage Stadium, and Asian massage Sage St. The reason is that I would like some new people as I am kind of tired of the same folks running the show. Kind of over the same recycled owners. As for now, that is all the details. But you know as soon as it opens I will be there.

I was driving down Westnedge today and noticed a lighted massage sign in the window of a store. I drove up to check it out and in the door is a piece of paper that says sunshine massage and a phone number. I texted the number and they said they are opening tomorrow morning. Unfortunately, I'm out of town tomorrow morning for work for a few days. The place is between Kilgore and Cork in the same strip mall as the lovers lane store.
I don't know what to say that hasn't already been said about this place, always a good massage with a happy finish. The girls have never let me down. Its 70 for a HR and I tip the HR fee.
According to lulu, it is another one affiliated with Sherry at Beautiful life. I hope someone reviews with good news, but. How many no happy massage shops can this little town support?

I did visit the new AMP Sunshine Massage. As I mentioned last month, It is on Westnedge In the same plaza as Lovers Lane. They got it together pretty quick because when I mentioned it three weeks ago, they hadn't even put the dry wall up.
When I went in for my appointment, I noticed that it is set up like Mei Li West. I was meet up front by a lady (Sorry, name slips my mind) who gave me a welcome and the run down. Things like price and that it is cash only for right now.
I went in with low expectations. She led me to the room and I got ready. She came back and did a good massage. There was no teasing at all. Her English was very good and she sparked up a conversation here and there. On the flip, she continued the good massage and then she slightly touched my hand to bring it close to the goods. Now remember, there was no teasing and I was not aroused in the slightest so I thought why is she evening attempting to suggest DIY? As I usually do, I rejected and told her I have no interest in DIY. She said "okay, we don't do either" After that she said, "No worries at all, just enjoy the massage" then she finished with more legs, feet, and shoulders.
What I did like was that when I told her I had no interest in DIY, she immediately dropped it and continued the massage. Unlike Sherry and Amy (Stadium) who keep aggressively try to make you do it.
So there it is fellas, like I need a BJ said, how many no happy spots are we going to get. That now makes seven AMP's and only one (Lotus) offers any good service. Speaking of Lotus, I haven't been in almost two years.
Pros: Good massage.
Cons: No teasing, no happy, DIY offered, ran by the same people who run both Mei Li's, Sage St, and Stadium.
Like I said, I went in with my expectations low so it is what it is. It is frustrating though to have seven AMP's in this small area with not much options. My opinion, you can go to Sunshine, but it is the same as the other spots.

I just got home from a great experience at sunshine. Not sure why everyone is saying it's the same as the others in town. I've never seen these girls before and while getting a massage I asked if they were the same owners and they said no. So take that for what you will.

I stopped at sunshine yesterday and had a great visit with a cute young girl. I didn't recognize either of the girls working. I asked if the owner was the same as other places in town and they assured me they were not. Take that for what you will.
