Both have been in the same location for over three decades, both offer consistent good service and product. And both charge a bit more than what you would pay elsewhere for similar product. But I keep going back to both for the reasons above. And where other businesses come and go, Silk and Clyde's just keep trucking.
There's a place near anaH in EC. No HE, but self-serve.
No draping. Or very little. Lots of teasing and rubbing over the rear exit. Mostly older unattractive.
It fits me, I just enjoy giving a show and seeing their reactions. Slightly cheaper too. Payment is after, and tip is not demanded for SS.

Would not return.[/QUOTE]They, like many / most places in HoCo and nearly all places in MontCo, are strictly self-serve at best. However, you do get a good massage and the full time you pay for, at a decent price, so I will go back there.
The place around the corner from them (and another heading toward Ellicott City) has more expansive options. However, they overcharge, upsell, short you on time--and the providers are still older and not attractive. If you want a reliable strong menu with attractive providers, you have to head down 95 to GB.

No hint of up sells. More like Chinese women looking for possible suitors. I went there for several years and got great massages but never more.

Saw Sandy at RL middle July. Something was wrong with shower so she started massage. Did not understand at all what she said. Got her name and paid the hour. She left a while, then came back and got to work. Excellent full body massage, got after the knots. I asked for an hour, she made it top to bottom down back (I was fixed there), then asks, "shower?" I follow her to shower and she continues massage in shower. Washed whole back, then started where she left off at my ankles and feet. Asked for flip and did whole front massage in conjunction with table shower. She was sweating and I suggested she open door. I told her I wasn't worried about another woman seeing me, she laughed and said thank you. We got back to room about an hour in and she wasn't fast to rush me out. Slow, careful technique. Sandy def seems cold at first but I think it was bc she was focusing on the job. I got smiles as things moved forward and it was obvious that she was trying her hardest to make me feel good. Typically I tip. 4 on an hour with he but I went with. 6 bc I was walking out 80 minutes after I got there. It was a good one, I liked the extended table shower at the end that got the action started.

I've had good service at RL twice in the last month. They knew me, so that probably helped. The extras were available, and they are generally good, just not as overtly as at the GB AMPs. Tips are a bit lower at RL, so I keep going back. I'd say the key is to be friendly and become somewhat of a regular.

RL is my favorite place these days, with good service and moderate tips. Like you said, the key seems to be to become a regular who is known for treating them well. My theory is that using the back door is a good idea too. I like it because it is more private, and it also shows that you know your way around.

It's just what everyone else said. Legit massage. The older masseuse (whose name I could not understand) was a bit flirty, but maybe that's because I'm almost their age at this point.
They do a really good job on the upper legs if you have sciatica (back pain that shoots down into the legs). And I'll also say I found it a lot more pleasant and pleasurable than the professional physical therapists / masseuses who leave you feeling bruised.
This comment really spoke to me, LOL. Being very much acquainted with both Clyde's and Silk since the 1980's (when Silk was Rainbow Spa, and before it became 21 Therapy) the quality of service for both is still right on par. After a long hiatus from the hobby, I was surprised that the current Silk experience is almost identical to the old Rainbow. While neither restaurant nor AMP is necessarily a 5-star experience, each provides good and predictable service.

I'm kind of done with AMPs. It's not just the poor service and possible trafficking issues, but the fact that I often don't even get a decent massage out of it. With chronic pain issues and a stressful life at home and work, it's nice to actually get something therapeutic along with the ending. When I lived in other cities south of here, I was able to find licensed massage therapists that stayed under the radar. Been having much less luck in this area. I'd be willing to trade info if anyone has any therapists they go to.

Dropped by silk yesterday around lunch time. Called before hand to see of Sofia was working. Mama confirmed she was. Pulled up and mama didn't recognize me. It's been awhile but still kinda broke my heart LOL. Paid. 6 for 30. Anyways got in the room and shortly after Sofia walks in. Iswear she's built like a goddess. Sounded like another monger was there and having more success but I could be wrong. The staff there are usually older and not that attractive.
