I don't care to tie myself to my camera any more than I might want to be tied to my vehicle, but the camera I have is nothing fancy. It is a 10 year old digital camera with only 1 megapixel images. The newer technology typically allows for 5 megapixel images on the cheapest of cameras and you can get 14-15 megapixel image cameras for less than $200. So why don't I just get a newer camera? But for viewing on line, the typical size/resolution desirability (and sometimes limitation; the max size that can be posted on this site, for example, is 640 x 640)) for adequate viewing, even on a large monitor, is a lot smaller than the capability of the camera, so using a camera like that is something equivalent to using a bazooka to go squirrel hunting. I personally don't think that any "time lag" or "private posting" of photos would do much to affect hassling or busting of a SW. I will explain my reasoning in a discussion I recently had with a SW that I was trying to convince to pose for pics.

The SW told me that the only reason that she didn't want to have pics taken was that she was concerned that local LE patrols and undercover vice would recognize her and hassle her.
