See, the reasoning about mug shots doesn't really make sense, because the girls who you photograph on the street don't volunteer to have their pictures taken either. That was what we were told to do on the Birmingham forum- take pics of SW walking down the street and post them instead of mug shots. You can't just plan when a SW is walking down the street to get a pic, and if you know someone is bad news, how are you to get a pic of them, set up a date with them and try to get a pic ? We had an in depth discussion over there with the moderator commenting on several comments others made. You might want to take a look. It will give everyone better insight as to what he sees as reasoning as to why he doesn't want mug shots on the site. I can't say I agree, as it makes us alot less safe to be protecting a SW from being embarrassed when they're liable to rob or kill us. We post mug shots to know who we're dealing with. Sometimes that's our only means of identification. Is it more important to protect a prostitutes reputation than it is to help someone here from being put in a potentially dangerous situation ?

Yes, as others say, it is 'his' forum, but he is standing behind reasoning he has gained as virtue of living in another country and how they view their sex workers. He said in the other forum that where he is from most sex workers are college girls out to make a little money, and most of their customers would be very distressed to know they had been arrested, and anyone who would post their pics when arrested only do so because they are angry with women in general and want to denegrate or embarrass them. Well, the Iris was sure asking for it. There were SWs walking their lot and loitering around the entrance all the time. And that camera, whether it even works or not, was doing nothing to deter that sort of blatent behavior. It almost seemed like a SW magnet attracting them to it, like moths to a flame.

That surprised me too. I do know though, from talking with some girls, that there were rooms rented at the Scottish Inn "where services were rendered". I find it hard to believe that it was any worse than the two notels just south of the liquor store though.

Many of the SW's used to run from the police and hide in the back of the lot of the Scottish Inn, so maybe that was part of the reason.

I was only in the notel one time, but it was cleaner and more updated than the others down the block.

While using notels is a necessary part of this hobby, I would rather go to one that does not have "enclosed" rooms, the ones where you have to go up and down stairs and down hallways. That's why I stayed away from the 78, there was just too much activity in the halls and stairwells, and you had to walk right past it to get to and from the room. I was in there just once, but it was almost surreal with people peeking out of rooms and others near, or on the stairs.

There is just a better perception of safety when you can walk out the door and right into your car, rather than down a hall and down stairs.

I believe [b]CD[/b] had an experience there some time back where a pimp in the hall tried to hit him up for more $$ just to leave the premises. Luckily though, he was able to slip out.

You can now DL the whole list of jail inmates in .XLS format. Simply sort first by "charge", then by "last name" and they are laid out for you like a buffet. Cut and paste last name, put in the first initial and there you go. One could probably write a macro to do this automatically and get all mugs in one fell swoop. Not, the only question is what to do with them.

Here are a few more tips after you sort by charge and search for the term "prostitution":

That is correct CK and now the same thing is going on at the old Executive Inn on Airways and Brooks. I experience the same kind of activity in the stairwells. Not many sws there like it used to be but there are some.
