She was apologetic, but when we were setting up a time, she didn't say, "Don't be early," I actually told her to tell me what time worked best for her, and that is when I would be there. She said anytime after 7, so I said, 7 is good, and she text back to make it 7:30. I had never met her, and did not know how long it would take to get to her place, but I felt like I didn't do anything wrong. She says she was concerned for her safety, and asked her son to come home. I would like to point out that I am not an intimidating guy, I am a fat guy, with glasses, and I was dressed in decent clothes. My suspicion is she doesn't like chubby guys, and decided not to continue with the appointment.
Doesn't matter to me, I just want to know, was I out of line being 5 minutes early? Usually, in this hobby, I am getting texts before I even pull out of my driveway, asking if I am there yet. If you have seen Abbey before, you are probably still good to go. If you have not seen Abbey, and arrive 5 minutes early, you are likely to get a lecture about how disrespectful it is to arrive 5 minutes early for an appointment.

I scope out the location, look for unusual activity and decide where to park. More than once I have looked around and decided to bail. And I especially don't want to run into her previous client on his way out. Awkward. In my general experience, when I show up right on time, I end up waiting anyway. Some hassle is par for the course, but Abbie is worth it. I hope you can repair the situation.
