Maybe you can pay a $20-30 fine to get in without one like in covid times but it can go either way. You don't need a passport to come back if you're an American citizen. Just be prepared to answer a million questions. If you're traveling by car into Mexico then you don't need a passport.

If it's your first time just stick to HK girls. Nearby clubs like Tropical and Chicago are also worth checking out.

They force all the girls to drink a minimum during every visit so the game has become to get you to buy the most expensive drink so that they can meet their quotas. There are usually a lot of girls that just sit in the Chavelitas section and their goal is to wait until a sucker spots them and pay for their expensive drinks.
