Decided to make a first time visit to Bogart's and Henry VIII yesterday. First stop was Bogart's around 1:30,5 dollar door entry and 6.5 for a beer. It wasn't very busy so I Sat. At the bar. There were perhaps around 8. 10 ladies dancing and may be 2 out of the 10 kind of caught my attention. There was a petite brunette with tats on her right arm. Didn't catch her name and wasn't able to get a dance with her. The bad thing about this place was I couldn't really get the names of the ladies when they were dancing be / see they were on 3 stages. The second lady there was a blond with bolt on (at least I thought they were), no tats, looked a little older (MILF type) and I really wanted a dance with her but she hooked with another person so I was out of luck. Decided to leave since the other ladies were just wasn't my type. What I do I liked about this club was there wasn't really a lot of smoke in the air. I didn't smell like a cig when I left the place!
Off to Henery VIII around 3:00,5 dollar door entry (REALLY) and 6.5 for a beer. Now, there was really nothing there that perked my interest. May be a petitie brunette with almost no butt. Couldn't get a dance with her...she was hooked with a reg. This place was just to smokey for me so I just left after a hour. However, I was sitting by the VIP area on the bench seat and I have to admit it was really comfortable sitting on that, if it was so smokey in there I may have stayed longer.
I going to try Bogarts's again to see if I can get the name of that blond!
Just stay out of the clubs inside the Detroit city limits and you'll be OK. Still plenty of choices to be made.

I arrived at 9:30 there were 20 dancers (a few 8's, mostly 7's, and some 6's with a 30/70 colored to non colored ratio) with about 45 customers. I happened to be in the neighbor hood so I dropped in about 6;30 Friday night. It's been a long time, at least 2 years for me since my last visit. I was happy that the ambiance hasn't changed too much, but it does seem nicer. They took down the small stage inside the door which gives more room in the 'social' area if you want to take a dancer up for a cocktail and conversation. The girls were all well above the Hamilton clubs average. A nice bonus.
