While there is no perfect model for prostitution (legal or illegal) the ones that involve human trafficking IMO are the worst. I would never frequent a massage parlor, especially the ones where the girls can barely speak 5 words of English.

Never had that problem there and it's likely a diluted baby oil.

I went to a legal place once in Reno, 20 years ago or so. It was out of the way, the ladies were generally very good looking, you could take your choice, and they will chat with you or have a drink with you to warm things up and are good at their job. But. They are very pricey (way too much so in comparison with other options) and won't tell you the price until Junior takes over. I never returned but understand that it might be on your bucker list. The ones near Vegas. Like those in Reno are quite far away so you are looking at a significant drive or cab fare. The exceptions would be; if it's on your bucket list and you have a fist full of $. You're turned on by low quality. You're into mechanical performance.
