I have not seen or heard anything about LE specifically targetting mongers.

In my many years of mongering in philly, I have not had any experience of LE cracking down on mongers. If the monger is doing other illegal activities (drug dealing, violence, wreckless driving etc) then that is a different story. But if the monger is an otherwise law abiding citizen, then they just let you go. This has been my experience countless times.

The truth is that mongers are a big portion of what run the city. They end up doing more hard than good by going after these types of mutually consensual interactions. Just look at that whole robert kraft fiasco.

The other issue is that cops are also mongers. They monger on their off duty times and some even monger on duty. They will definitely not go after their own. This is probably why they have their own specified units to have a select few only go after SW.

I am not opposed to the idea that LE could change their strategy, but I'll believe it when I see it.

Yes, that may be part of it, but it is likely more to deter homeless populations.

I have seen cop cars parked at all different types of locations for all sorts of reasons.

As I type this, I'm back on the ave again. I've been here since 12, it's now 4 pm. Absolutely nothing worth while out. If anyone has a decent regular, a better area or even a time machine, I'd really appreciate hearing from you!

Here are a few tips I use:

1. go in with an amount of time you are willing to lose. Usually I just do a few laps and if nothing tickles my fancy, I hit up an AMP. Sometimes I do a few laps in Camden. IMO Camden is similar to Kensington but usually worse. Similar to going to Vegas with a set amount of money you are willing to lose; that way you don't lose your life savings.

2. I'd say afternoon-early evening is the worst time to go out. Too much people out so it makes traffic bad. And more cops out. And the hot weather makes SW not want to be outside for long.

3. lower your standards. Picking up SW in Kensington is like eating out of the trash. You are rarely going to find something pristine. You need to learn how to settle with what's there or not partake at all.

Not much talent compared to Kensington, but I would find one good regular and we would see each other consistently until they got clean. Camden had girls who were consistent and I could always find them unlike in Kensington girls move around a lot and get picked up quickly.

Phyuck![/QUOTE]Generally, I try to advise people from out of town to try the Philly AMPs instead of trying your luck in Kensington. I find that the quality and quantity of Philly AMPs are generally better than many other US cities.

If you do go to Kensington, there are here are some things to keep in mind:

In recent years, the selection of women have gotten a lot grosser. A lot more skin infections, amputations, bad hygiene, etc.

The local government has been implementing a few changes and things have been getting a lot more chaotic. Recently a cop was shot in the neck, people on ATVs / dirt bikes / scooters have been getting into crashes and shooting people.

Recently there have been an influx of tiny young pussy. Off the top of my head, I can think of around 5-10 that are in 20's, close to 5 ft, less than 100 pounds.
