Are you guys talking about Ivy that use to be Bianca?

I.V did come from Cleopatra and is at splash. She goes to maui on Sundays thru Tuesdsays. Bianca (also known as Ivy) that use to work at Hello Eves, also use to work at Cleopatra and T time. Saw Bianca (Ivy) at Hello Eves on monday night.

Just wanted to verify. Sounds like, some are getting confused.

Yes, two different people. I.V./Ivy is just a play on letters and not a true barname, as opposed to Ivy/Bianca. I actually didn't want to say in public that I.V. goes to Maui but I guess it is of no consequence - I hope.

You say Bianca "use to work" at Eve, but you just saw her Monday night; does she still work there?

Petite, cute, bubbly, funny and has a cute bouncy walk. Also went by Bianca at one bar since already had another Ivy and yes is now at Eve bartending from Wednesday with Chong and does work floor most of the other days. Popular lady!

From what she tells me, she goes back to Maui to be with her mom. She also told me that on the days that she's on Oahu, she does massages during the day. According to her, she is a CMT. Checked the Iris/Carnival/Hollywood strip - waste of time and gas; no girls, just older ones and all 3 places were super slow.

Stopped by Carnival (Kalihi) around 9pm because of reports of newer girls. No talent in my opinion. Mostly older 40s and 50s. Not bad if you like that age range, I don't. Stick w/ the ones in town.

RE: Ivy. Yea, she's a Certified Massage Therapist. She was very popular at Cleopatra. Before that she first started at Emerald City about 2 years ago. Has been popular ever since. Unless you a client in Maui I don't think you'll get a professional massage. I doubt she plays.

She told me something similar, except she massages here and on Maui. Claims to have hundreds of clients. When I mentioned I enjoy shoulder rubs that's when she told me about her huge caseload :)

My wife and I are considering opening a kbar, the only problem is starting from the get go is expensive. So our question is this, of you guys that are close to some of the business owners there that are considering wanting to sell the establishment woulld you be so kind to give us some info on which places may be interested in selling. PM is appreciated.

PM is appreciated.[/QUOTE]I think most kbs are leased. They are charged an upfront fee and collect monthly rent, usually for 6 months. They also have to change the name of the establishment, as the original belongs to the owner. That's why there are a lot of "new" club so and so. I suspect most of the "owners" have local backing (sugar daddies). So they do ok by leasing out rather than selling.

PM is appreciated.[/QUOTE]The problem with buying a K Bar, they will want a large cash premium in addition to taking over the lease payments, and the time and difficulty in transferring a liquor license.

Suggestion: Open a new AMP or take over an existing AMP, with minimal investment. Make it look like and work like a hostess bar, with back room cubicles for relaxation. We get the advantage of checking out and interacting with the girls first, and relaxation/satisfaction at a reasonable going rate of the AMP. The girls will have a large monger market, maybe even a line outside. Recruit hot chicks, of course!
