I noticed that there was papers posted on the wall of the lobby saying they got robbed and had stills of their security cameras of the robbers. I wonder if the that played a larger role as to why they closed up?

I know for a fact law officers have made the rounds warning cash heavy businesses to make an effort not to keep much cash on site. Other then massage joints, nail salons and barber shops come to mind. I would not be surprised the spa robed was reported and police distributed the pictures as a public outreach. Some probably threw the pictures away, at least one posted them in clear site.
