I've always been a big believer in the idea that the Casino's do NOT want police inside arresting their patrons for solicitation. If they don't want that happening in the building they simply have security crack down and run off the CG's. Outside the Casino's is a different story.

That said there's still a chance something could happen. There have been a few stings including one recently where an off duty California cop got arrested.

The simplest solution is to do nothing illegal till you get to your room. A cop probably isn't going to get on an elevator with you, let alone go into your room. Many guys on here practice that and just don't negotiate till they're inside.

For me the risk is pretty low and not something I worry about much. That said.

I have good instincts and I trust them if something sounds off or I get a bad vibe. Never be afraid to walk away, no pussy is worth an arrest. Be mindful of who is watching and / or listening to your conversation. A cop will have other cops there to monitor her. An LE check never hurt anyone. If you're at a bar you might be able to ask for some info from the bartender especially if you tip generously.

Lastly, if you're really worried about it explore another avenue. Won't be fun if you're paranoid.

You have to remember that most of the guys picking up CG's are not serious hobbyists, often they are drunk guys away from wife / girlfriend and have a pocket full of cash.

I have never had worries with LEO stings. Since most of us use our room (or a dedicated room) it would be difficult to get caught in a sting, usually the connection takes place on a casino floor where the casinos don't want the police making an arrest there. The money changes hands in your room where LEO doesn't know where that is until you bring it up.
