Whoever shall unlawfully seize, confine, inveigle, decoy, kidnap, abduct or carry away any other person by any means whatsoever without authority of law.

You brought a item to assist you in confining a female, in her room, ouch. If this goes south, while you probably are going to beat the case you are absolutely not go beat the felony arrest. You would get the benefit of doubt if locked door, or even used door chain. But to bring a item with the express purpose of securing the door, of another person's castle? They are going to claim you were acting in a threatening manner, and that justified the handier to be even more aggressive, legally. I am as about as paranoid as possible, with that, I can't do incall to many factors I can't control. If you applyed this tool to your own hotel room door, it could be dicey, depending on what lies she could tell uncle, but securing your castle is one thing, but another's? Also if you start pulling out gadgets the girl is rightfully going to freak out.
