I haven't been looking very hard lately since I'm not always there in the area, but today I saw one worth picking up over the lunch hour. I was out around 2 am the other morning and didn't see much until maybe 3 when I saw someone new I hadn't seen before. I parked and did a walk by first and everything seemed cool so we took off. Is it this slow where no on is posting during the summer? Maybe there's just no one around logging into USASG to post? Just curious as to why it's so slow here on the forum. I know Lake St is slowly being gentrified, but it's not there yet completely, I know there's got to be some opportunities out there, or am I wrong?

I was out yesterday around 1 pm. There were some samples to be had. There was a BSW with black shorts, yellow top and blue backpack walking Lake St that didn't look too bad. I also saw a WSW I hadn't seen before but she looked a bit rough so I passed. The one I did spot was initially sitting at the Taco Hell block wall and then wandered over to corner of Clinton Ave and 31st St. She sat at the edge of the gutter for at least an hour. For no good reason I ventured out to Lake street today, only to shortly thereafter wish I hadn't. I did see a few but I couldn't even be hassled to pick up my camera. Saw most on 29th off Lake. There was one I thought I might be interested in as I could only see her backside, but when I stopped and she came by, I wanted nothing to do with her. Have we finally met the breaking point? I was out on Lake last week and it was completely quiet. The last few times have been exactly the same. I know things always slow down when it gets cold up here but it's been like this for a long time. Maybe street action is meeting its end here? Or maybe there are other new strolls we don't know about? (I doubt it). I visit other cities all the time and things are so much better and people in those other cities are much more active on this site as well. Makes me wonder if people are just not posting here? Nodak you have done a great job of trying to keep things alive here but things are on life support on this site. I'm not the biggest poster myself, but lately there hasn't been anything worth posting about either.

I agree, I don't see another stroll coming up and with all the new changes to Lake St it's only going to get worse, not better. I'm not sure the reason why this is happening. Maybe the police, maybe Trump (FOSTA), maybe economy, gentrification, internet (everyone now wants 120/ hh), not sure it's just one thing. We all know that Winter really impacts SW activity, but that doesn't explain what happened this summer. I'm just glad that, like you CB, I'm able to visit other cities frequently enough to still have some fun either in a club or on the street.

Easy internet access has given a lot of these girls the idea that they're worth more than what they're offering. I agree with everyone about the Twin Cities SW scene drying up. I've been doing this for awhile and pickings are as slim as I have ever seen. Like Nodak Boy said, winter will only make it worse.

I drive S. Mpls a lot for my job and on Lake St quite a bit usually between 9-11 am. I still see SW at that time but most are looking pretty grim. The area between 17th Ave and Chicago along Lake and 29th is where I see most of them. I have not sampled anything in a long time because I haven't seen anyone worth a stop. There is usually a SW or two along Bloomington Ave between Franklin and that is like The Walking Dead down there. Scary looking SWs with obvious pharm issues and "handlers" very close by. LEO keep putting up those portable cameras along Bloomington and parts of Lake. I think there is one now at gas station on the corner of Park and Lake. Some SW hang out there too usually with a "handler".

If I may get nostalgic for a moment. . it wasn't always like this. Although the Twin Cities were never like Vegas or SF, I could almost always find a decent looking SW for decent service. You could cruise a few spots in the Cities and see many ladies out. Along Sherburne Avenue in St Paul between Dale and Lexington was a good strip. Along Lake and along 31st Street was a good strip. Plymouth Avenue and, if you were feeling brave, was a good strip. Hennepin Avenue downtown was a good strip. Franklin Ave was, and still is, a dog track. I meant a few gems in these places that became regulars that were cool working girls. Of course, it wasn't all peaches and cream. Franklin between Park and Chicago and going down towards Bloomington and / or Cedar but especially the one block between Park and Chicago is a guarantee on foot or at least always was. After another unsuccessful outing I'm thinking of calling Lake Street "Lame Street" going forward. Except for one fat ugly BSW, there was absolutely no one else out there the other day. This was late afternoon / early evening and the weather was nice. I'm asking for more street action for Christmas this year. Can things get any worse? They have to start getting better right?

Maybe not much lately, but in years prior I spent quite a bit of time surveying the Lake St stroll and there are real gems to be had. Sure it's possible she wasn't looking, but if you could have seen her path through the streets, it seemed very random. I've seen women just as pretty as this one on Lake, but this one wasn't making it obvious that she was working and I'm not one to go out shouting for her to get in.

Anyway, none of that matters now with the main riots (aka "protests") happening on Lake, it's got to be pretty dead right now.

Had a delivery to make down off of Portland and decided to swing through Lake area this afternoon. Pretty much a ghost town, not just of SW but even of your average pedestrian.

I think it may be time to call the Lake St 2020 patient dead at this point. Any one else find different? I did a recon around Bloomington and E 22nd St, saw maybe 2 NSW, the younger one looked slightly passable but not the other, any way not quite my thing so moved on.

Based on RB's report that there was some success to be had our on the stroll, I decided to hop in my jalopy and take a gander. It was just as quiet as I remember it with even more streets blocked off for constructions, etc. In other words, dead as a fucking doornail, there's just so little foot traffic out there, stores closed or boarded up, it's really sad to see. I hope it picks up and I'm wrong, but it's going to be many months before anything is even remotely back to normal on Lake, it took a big F'n hit.
