Based on Sawsy's information and my track record with him (he's the guy who introduced me to OK Spa) I decided to TOFTT and update the clearly mixed review situation with Q Spa. Is this place a winner like Asian Relaxation 4 blocks down 19? or is it a loser like Miyako Spa 3 miles up the road in New Port Richey? That is what I was about to find out.

Parking: Sawsy's directions to the discrete parking lot behind the shopping center worked lke a charm. Not sure I'd want to park there at night unless the lights are bright, as it could be a mugging waiting to happen, but the day time parking was fine and discrete. The location allows entry to Q Spa without having to make the walk of shame past the 250 old ladies playing bingo and looking out the curtain less window at you. So far so good.

Facility: Entered and the rooms are big, but the place is old and run down. I prefer a nice clean facility like Body Temple, OK Spa or Spring Spa. Drop it down a few notches due to the run down facility which did not appear particularly clean. (though in fairness it was not so bad that I would declare it a human health bio hazard like Osaka Spa on Hillsborough).

Attendant: Thankfully I didn't draw a troll like Sawsy did in his older, but classic review of Q Spa. My attendant was an older 50+ year old woman named Pepsi. She was looked alright for her age, was pleasant enough and has some nice looking 34 D bolt ons. They are the hard kind that were popular in the late 80's/early to mid 90's (good looking, but rock hard and not natural feeling). They definitely were not the softer more natural ones most of the younger K girls come with today. Pepsi looked vaguely familiar from somewhere (Aloha 5th Avenue? Magic Spa?, Gold Spa?) but claimed to be new in town. When asked "where are you from?" she replied "all over". If I had to describe her in two words, it would be "all business"

Massage: Q Spa is a licensed AMP and supposedly offers massages. However, Pepsi was in a hurry to get the massage over (no customers were waiting so that was NOT an issue) and the massage was not very good. It really felt more like a body rub that Asian Relaxation Spa offered. In other words, if you are looking for a good massage, you need to look elsewhere. You will not find it here.

Price: At the flip, I could see that Pepsi was going to be a tougher price haggler than William Shatner the Priceline Negotiator. Not willing to engage in a day long protracted bargaining session, I just opted for the .6 happy ending. Later, I would understand how that term "Happy Ending" came about and what it truly means as I finally did have a happy ending.

After the flip, Pepsi began using a massage technique that is perhaps best studied in it's full painfully excruciating detail in the following instructional film. I repeatedly asked her to slow down and to be more gentle with the twigs and berries, but she persisted with her rough jack hammering technique. Painful to say the least. Constantly hearing "You done yet?", "You done yet?" every 10 seconds did not help the situation come to conclusion.

Finally I could see that for the first time in a long time, I was going to have to go to the bullpen for some relief. I asked Pepsi to stop and take her hand off the game balls. I waived in the right hander, Molly Fivefingers, who came in, worked out of the jam and got the batter to pop up for the save. That was the happy ending, I was happy it ended and I was happy to leave.

Bottom line: I think I could have done better by taking my money to the Bingo parlor next door and trying to pick up up one of the many horny middle age ladies who go there. Unless you are a racer on a 40 second pit stop or have always wondered what it would be like to be hooked up to a dairy milking machine, Q Spa a/k/a Quick Spa is NOT RECOMMENDED

Any recent reports on this place? Looks like a few hotties work there and late nights too. I never had much success at a lingerie (rub n tug) shop before. Was my entry into the hobby and after 3-4 visits I got tired of $100 tug n runs. Then I discovered the AMPs...!

I had a great time there with Holly. She's a fun girl with a great attitude. She was a thirsty girl and drained my milkshake completely and enthusiastically. However, three hundred bones is a little steep for me. I will probably repeat one day, but at that price, no more than once a year.

Went about 2 weeks ago and saw a very cute girl named Yoko. She said Tina was busy but I never heard anyone else in the place. Anyway she provided a decent TS, but you may need to let her know you are OK before she spends any time on the boys. The massage was very good and Yoko is a sweety and very sexxy I might add. She allowed roaming below the waist and has a very nice slim tight bod. The HE was good as well but I'm pretty sure nothing else is on the menu. The two here that I like have stayed a while, but its 100% slave trafficking when you consider all the ones that are "moved" around from city to city every month or so.

Any recommendations on a spa with the best price-to-service ratio? Looking for a new ATF after recent lame experience at Spring.

That is not the experience of many here. This has been debated ad infinitem on the Massage board here in special interest section. A cuple of the guys actually live with K girls so check out what they say and I think you will see a deferent side of the story.

First time posting gentlemen, short time reader.

I had a very enjoyable time with Tina approx. 3.5 weeks ago. I have seen her about 4 or 5 times over the last year and Lucy the second to last time I was there, which was approx 5-6 weeks ago. I have had no luck except HE with both capable ladys, even with my charming persistence; however Tina seems to let me wander above the waist quite a bit more than Lucy does.

Both of their massage quality is great IMHO and the each have unique talents in other areas. I'm not sure when their bust occurred so I can't correlate my experiences to that event.

Most are single moms trying to support families.

The only reason they aren't allowed out is because spa owners don't want them dating customers. Who's going to come in and pay for a visit if he's getting it outside for free?

But they can leave anytime they want.

They work 6 days a week, 12 hours a day and they aren't allowed out while they are. That doesn't sound like they can leave anytime they want to me. Do you mean they can [b][u]quit[/u][/b] anytime they want? If they're here illegally or on HB1 visas and they quit, then all they can do is go back to Korea unless they can find someone else to harbor them and pay all their expenses.

They usually don't speak much if any english, probably have only the most basic education, are of highly questionable legal immigration status, may be indebted to their employer for the inflated costs of bringing them to the US and housing and feeding them while they are here and may not have the funds (or possibly even possession of their passport) to return to Korea, so finding other legal work in the US that will pay enough to support themselves is highly unlikely. The only people they meet, other than other Koreans who are part of the AMP ring, are customers. And, even if they could arrange to meet them outside of the AMP or even leave the AMP to go off on their own, few customers will be ready to do more than pay for an outside session now and then and very few will be ready to take on the [b][u]full[/u][/b] responsibility of providing them the full room and board that they get from the AMP. Even if they could freely return to Korea (actually some I've spoken with were actually ethnic koreans from northern china), they probably face even more grinding poverty and possibly debts from their trip to the US. So none of that [b][u]really[/u][/b] sounds like [b][u]complete[/u][/b] freedom to just so easily leave anytime they want.

There are also questions about their working and living conditions. They may get to keep a portion of their tips (assuming they get more than "3 customers a day") but as "seasonal" or migrant workers they may not be subject to the minimum wage laws (assuming their employers aren't also outright violating other labor laws). And lets not forget the long hours. And they may have other deductions by the AMP ring taken from what they get "paid" to cover (or more likely more than cover) the costs of transporting, feeding and housing them (probably packed into a small 3 room house or apartment with a dozen others). They probably signed some sort of contract back in Korea where they guaranteed to pay certain fees to get to the US and for their living expenses while here out of their earnings and may have had to surrender their passport as security.

If all of that is not quite slavery, then it is indentured servitude and all of it seems darn close to slavery to me even if it isn't quite.

The truth is most are US citizens, some have "green cards" and some are ethnic Koreans from China.

They aren't allowed to go out for a night by the spa owners for stated reasons.

But they can quit anytime they want. They can go home on extended vacation anytime they want. Most live in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, etc. They have families, house payments, car payments, kids to support, basically normal lives,.....except they have an unusual job and way of earning a living.

Hey Vit P. Went and saw T a couple weeks ago right after she got back from NY. I had read about the bust but didn't bring it up. Asked how it was going and there as an awkward pause but she didn't mention it. I have seen her many times and have a really good repore with her and she was still a little hesitant at the end. She is such a great girl. Total BS they pick on her. I can think of a couple places I'd like to direct them to.

As for some recent reports (a little late) saw Yumi at Nagoya about 2 months ago. Had seen her a year ago (?) twice at Jap Spa. Back then first time awesome, second time crap. Saw her recently in late May, awesome. She was playful, outgoing, and very accomodating. Very impressed, gave her .6 and she seemed very happy. Laughed when she realized I had a peppermint in my mouth she gave me when I got there after what I just did for her. Went back a week later for round 2 and like Jekyl and Hyde. Hurry, don't do that, no, bla, bla, bla. Total crap. Not worth the hassle. Never know what your gonna get. 2 times awesome, 2 times crap. Actually went to Jap Spa couple weeks ago and Yumi answers the window (moved back from Nagoya I guess). Just said nevermind and left.

Not sure I want to report about the good experiences because I don't want to ruin a good thing for people. It seems like everyone is holding back on posting for the same reason unless nobody is partaking anymore. I will say I went to ** several months ago when someone posted about ** and she was incredible. Went back a week later and she wasn't there but the girl that was was even better!! Model looks and body that was unbelievable. AND she did EVERYTHING for 1. even. Wanted more but that was all I had. I went back a few weeks later and saw the same little hottie. Even better than the first time until time to leave. Gave her 1.2 this time and she pitches a fit. Throws it on the table and says "NO GOOD!". Very awkward. Thought she would be happy. Told her that was more than last time but she didn't want to hear it. Damn I hate when that happens, but I wouldn't have agreed to the 2. she wanted afterward PLUS the .8 door. Mama I guess heard her going on and on but was still really nice when she let me out the back. Said "thanks, see you next time". I just grumbled "whatever, total bullshit". Hope she went in and tore into the *****. So out of the 3 times I went there, 3 scores. But after the last time not sure I'll go back. Nagoya and Yokohama are always hit and miss. I'm hesitant to report a hit knowing that it might be a miss for the next monger.

By the way - Kyoto Spa (old J Spa) and Bodysage are both closed. I'm assuming they forgot to get their LMT license. If anybody sees them reopened, send me a message.

Looking at visiting 73rd aromatherapy, Final touch or Tropical Gardens. These places operate like amps? Got my fill of the AMP's here in Atlanta and the thought of an American staff is exciting.

Yes these places are like an AMP but no Asians and no massage. You will get a body rub and relaxation session that is 20 minutes or a half hour in length unless you want to pay for more. Final Touch/Tropical Gardens are 2 locations -same management and are both recommended (see their web site for schedules).

I have only been to 73rd Aromatherapy once several years ago. At that time cleanliness, service and upselling were big problems. Perhaps it has improved since then. I don't know. I have not been back, nor would I go back. The word is that now they videotape their customers as they enter the shop as well as in the rooms. Also LEO is always lurking in the parking lot (see St Pete AMP forum). If you like the idea of being taped, by all means give them a try. You might be starring in your own reality TV show and not even know it. Most of us locals would pass.

The hobbyist have spoken and you get a better selection of hotties for you money at Final Touch or Tropical Gardens. I have personal friends who patronage those two regularly and get alot of bang for their bucks.

I'm with CB-- I don't need my own reality show. I go where the local popo isn't hanging out.

I've read good reports but haven't had the opportunity to spend time with her. I like the idea of a flat fee structure though. It takes the haggling and mystery out of it.

I have seen Lise twice and highly recomend her.

Will be in town early next month. While in Tampa, I'm interested in enjoying a serious, full 60-minute, professional-level massage with a pleasant ending. The therapist should be an attractive female, preferably someone who is willing to work topless or at least somewhat scantily clad.

I'm definitely not interested in FS. So, based on what I've read between the lines on this board, I assume that probably rules out the brief "relaxation sessions" offered at Final Touch and Tropical Gardens.

Beds and sauna are great. The problem is that none of that mattered because the girl doing the massage did nothing but bi+ch and put down every other place. It was non stop with her. I know she thought she was cleverly driving up her tip but in reality it ruined the entire experience. The woman knew every place between Tampa and Orlando. She knew every spa & knew every girl there was. When she started trashing Mae who used to work at Ginza in Casselberry that's when I knew she was just a loud mouth bi+ch.

Paid $80 for an hour. Only got 45 min. Great sauna. Ok massage but it wouldn't have mattered if she gave the best massage in the world, it would not be worth all the nagging and bitching. Hell, I would have tipped her any amount just to shut her mouth!

Avoid this place.

Tammy at OK Spa in St Pete knows a lot of the girls at other spas and has actually recommended some of them to me. When some of her competitors had slow business, she has even suggested a visit to help them out (making sure I never tell them that the suggestion to visit them came from her).

Tammy has a true heart of gold and is beloved by her customers, her co-workers and her competitors alike. I have heard many girls at other spas speak with reverence when Tammy's name is mentioned. I can't say enough about what a first class girl she is and how I am honored to know her as a person of good heart, intelligence and the highest degree of class you will ever find. No wonder she has a great rate of repeat business!

I haven't been to either place in a while. I always liked the clean facilities. Talent can be hit or miss, but sadly usually a miss.

I'm so ticked I didn't think to ask. At the time I remember thinking there was no way I wanted to know her name. It wasn't until I was in my car and thought about giving everyone a heads up that it dawned on me how stupid I was not to ask. If it helps any I got the feeling she used to work in Orlando, or still does on occasion, because she knew every street, exit #, and AMP.

Was she younger than the typical Japanese Spa girls?

If it's who I think, she only works there occasionally on a temporary basis when they are having trouble finding other girls. She lives in Orlando.

Nope. She was the typical spa girl, they all look 30/petite body/not pretty enough in the face to date

When I see AMP arrest reports with pictures the ladies are invariably 10 to 15 years older than they look to me. I think most of the real stunners stay in Korea to work. An Korean guy I used to work with told me American men think all K girls look pretty good whereas most Korean guys think most of the ones here in the USA are here because they aren't good enough looking to find a man in Korea.

Nah, they just don't come to Tampa to work. You'll find them in New York, Washington DC, and Los Angeles.
