I don't think you can generalize. Also depends on personal preference. I am in 50-55 age bracket (but in reasonable shape, I am no Brad Pitt though). I have short SA experience (two months of full membership two months apart). I initially ignored 18-22 age group, but later I realized I may be missing some good ones, and tried.
