HPV, HSV, Hepatitis and other common infections arent usually tested.

Anybody know of a discreet way for getting tested for STD's? I'm thinking of a home kit or something like it. I tested once at the Diamond Head Clinic and ran into someone I knew, which was awkward. I looked up STD Test Express and it looks like all labs have closed except for one in Aiea off Kam Hwy. , but I haven't confirmed if it's actually operational yet. Thoughts? Recommendations?

It also may become awkward for people who get "checked regularly" because of a BB hobby; expect to get scolded by your doctor at some point for not using protection etc.

On the other hand, your doctor could order tests to also include the items mentioned by ClintonPortis, depending on your particular case.

Even if you run into someone at a med lab though, you could just say something like your doctor is checking your cholesterol for example.

It would be awkward for him (since he was not comfortable at DHC) because the ER has a check-in process for an ambulatory person; he'd have to explain why he's there to several people including the receptionist. It is also not suitable for mongers and providers who "get tested regularly".

ER's usually charge a fee so it would also be much costlier than seeing his doctor. They may advise him as to less-risky behavior and using clinics thereafter.

They give you a cup and tell you piss over this line but UNDER this other line. They ain't fuckin around if you give them too much urine they ll ask you to wait an hour and re -do a new cup. Online results: they send you a link by texting your monger phone or email, they will explain it to you, don't trip. In any case, the cost is, wait for it. NO COST. Pro- tip: always say " single" on forms or when asked in Hawaii, particularly with STD testing, so some medical professional doesn't claim they got to tell your S. And how you answer determines how many STDs they're going to test you for. Honestly I wanted everything since it's free LOL but she told me " you're just not in the higher risk group" so piss in this cup and it only tests gonorrhea and Chlamydia. I ll go back for more, it was my first time there and I just went with flow to get a feel of the place. I tried to upload some photos of this place but this site rejects them / upload failed. The place was easy when I went in, no drama whatsoever. The form asks if you have insurance and who your employer is, ahem, cough cough. I'm sure most who come here prefer to say no insurance and unemployed. They will not ask further. I give this place a thumbs up.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. I opted for My LabBox, a home STD testing kit you can purchase online. Got my results in just over a week with USPS Priority. Very easy to take the test, with clear instructions. There are several different tests you can buy; I opted for the "Uber" package. It's very expensive-269--but think about how much we already spend on the hobby and anyway, the convenience, anonymity, and comprehensiveness of the tests all made it more than worth it for me.

I'm not sure exactly, but something like 80% of STD's are asymptomatic, so without being too preachy, I'd recommend you do yourself and the mongering community and the people who serve it a big favor and get tested regularly.
