I got some of them while moving and some while stoped. I probably took 100 pictures those are just the good ones. It is not too tough to get one while moving as long as the angles are correct. The easiest are of course the dead on shots.
Wouldn't this be great. Imagine all the great footage you could get

It is neat, if you are a video vigilante. Think about it, do you really want to go driving around the stroll with that in your windshield and a police scanner mounted on the dash in front of the passenger seat?
Think of what the strung out pimp or pusher is going to think. The shots you are taking of them are no where near as dangerous as they shots they may try taking of, I am sorry, that is AT you. :D
Not only that, but because of the 'obstructed' view, LE would be stopping you every five minutes.
Something a bit less obvious would be in order I believe.

Yea you have a point. Not that I would have the balls to put that on
my dash but would be fun though. Maybe a bit more subdued or
in James Bond style with the camera hidden in the grille with
a video monitor and remote control on the dash would be more
like it. Too bad I spend all my play money on hookers so I probably
wouldn't be able to spare the funds to do that.

It's unobstrusive and looks like a GPS mounted on your dash. He has a picture of the setup, and in later posts he puts a description of where he got it (I believe at Best Buy. $45)

If a girl is waiting at a "bus stop" for a hour and never gets on a bus that might be a tip.
If you drive by her and she looks into your car like she wants to get in that might be a tip.
A little observation goes a long way. A little of that and some luck will keep you out of trouble.

Davey1965 once you get this set up and some hours of SW's you can shop the footage to HBO as the Street Walker Diaries. You never know it could be a big hit!

This first set of photos were taken near Lehigh. The photo labeled the screamer is of a heavy set young lady who was hanging out with another two women in baggy clothing. She was screaming into a mini van that all she was doing was hanging out and getting high. Eventually she got into the mini van and left. I can only image that the person driving the van was a family member or friend trying to straighten her out. The photo labeled blond1a was of one of her friends. She could have been packing more than anyone expected under those clothes.
The picture titled redhead was of someone who I think has been reported on but at the moment I saw her I was not sure if it had been a good report or a bad one.
The pictures titled “on a buy” was a pretty obvious attempt to find a dealer by this young lady.
This set of photo were taken on the north end . The only familiar face was the photo listed 2ndredhead. I just forget her name. At one point the woman in the photo listed older brunette was almost running down the street. That really made for an odd scene. I do not recall ever seeing either one of the brunettes out patrolling but the one seems to be wearing a jacket I have photographed on another person so she is probably working with one of the local “groups” I unfortunately did not get a face shot of the blond she was out for maybe 3 minutes before she was picked up. She was on the phone the entire time so I guess she had something pre arranged. She did give me my favorite picture of the day labeled favorite. That poor guy’s head almost fell off looking a nicely fitting pair of jeans.
As one who has photographed the girls on the streets Cincinnati for years, I see your pix as indistinguishable from our girls. Philly and Cincy appear nearly identical. (Except that most of our SWs do NOT have phones that work...) You have done a great job at capturing the environment and the women. GOOD JOB.
I wonder how you managed to get the pix and still drive? I have wondered if I might get a driver so that I could concentrate on taking pix. Any way you can get better color quality?

I have only been to Cincinnati once but it would not surprise me if the populations were very similiar. Most SWs here don't have phones that work for very long either. I guess the best method would be a two person system. That is how all the pros do it!
I have a few more pictures that I took on a cold weekend morning. Number 1 had an older gentleman talking to her but he must have been asking for something unreasonable because she seemed a little bother by him. Number 4 almost got picked up twice while I was watching but for some reason both turned her away. I guess she is scary up close or asking for too much. Both talked with her through the window which made them stick out like a sore thumb. Along the same line of thinking, what is it about hanging out in front of the 7-11. Is that not as much of a cliche as hanging out at D&D.
That brings me to pictures 2 and 3. She looked a little young but was waving at almost every car that drove by. Of course there was some guy hanging with her. I saw her get picked up and her guy did not even get a look at the vehichle, so much for security. When she got back she was almost bouncing down the street happy. Imediately they were both off to spend whatever she had just made. Even a battled scarred monger has to feel bad about that one.
