You hit the nail on the head. I talked to her on the phone to set up an appointment and asked her about the LE accusations. She assured me they were false. I believed her and took a BIG chance and met with her. She told me that a guy had "bad etiquette" via text messaging and phone conversations while trying to set up an appointment with her. This was obviously a scam but it's understandable how a reasonable person who's in a tough spot financially could buy into it. Anytime they ask for any (ANY) money up front they're almost always running a game. A genuine professional agency / producer / photographer, etc. Would almost never ask for cash up front. Of course his scam sounded convincing because he referenced legitimate studios.
