Rancho & Bonanza isn't a very good area. I'd walk down Rancho in the daytime without much worry, but not at night and I wouldn't be comfortable wandering through the nearby neighborhoods on foot even in the daytime. I do know several people that have been mugged in the area in the daytime once they ventured into private neighborhoods or even in shopping centers out of sight of the main roads. They weren't hobbyists either, just going about their business.
Even taking a taxi down there, unless you can get the girl to call you a taxi to her place (doubtful I think), you might have to hoof it to a landmark to get picked up by your taxi. I'd say definitely avoid it at night. Depends on your risk tolerance, but I wouldn't go to an incall there myself probably in general. There are some weekly motels up Rancho a ways so that could be it, that might not be too bad, but I think I'd avoid a private residence down there. You'll stick out more if you're white or asian, it's a primarily black and hispanic area. FWIW. Be safe!

Ok, thanks. Doesn't make sense. I've walked from stratosphere to OG, do it regularly to save cab fare and cover charge, that's not so bad if in the early evening but this sounds more complicated. Appreciate the advice!
