I believe YOU did not think of this first because you did not think of new mongers who use this board. I also stated 3 reasons of why this loop is better than the CLIX loop: more established presence of SW, shorter, and safer. For example, because of closure of St. Benedict and heave LE on other roads near S. Brunswich, you do not find much life in the adjacent areas, including S. Catherin. Also, the part of the old loop near Monroe and Washington has been abandoned for the most part.

I wanted to compare notes yesterday and check out all 3 loops in one evening. I had 3 hours and a quarter tank of gas to waste, all in the name of academic research :)

Here is a summary of my findings. First figure is the average number of SWs seen, at anytime in one round, around the loop, second is the rating on a SW scale:

WW: 6, 5/10 (selection rotates significantly, ages mostly early to mid 30s)
PP: 3, 6/10 (selection rotates, reasonably, ages mostly mid-late 30's)
PTPSC: 3, 6/10 (selection steady, ages mostly mid 30s)

More lines of comparison are appreciated.

PS, was tired at the end of the round, so headed back to WW, picked up EZ for 1/2 and 1/2, standard tuition at her place. She rates 6/10, service 8/10.

terra I agree with you about sw. I have cut back my trips to the streets to almost nothing. The thriill of the hunt just isn't there any more. Street quality is the worst I have seen 30 years. Cl & eros can be unreliable also. CL girls jerk you around by not showing up or not answering their phone. Sometimes I feel like DC. Sometimes I feel like MP. Sometimes I feel like SB. Etc. Etc. CL has it's own share of raunch as the SW scene. I've had good and bad in both places. If you haven't had the bad experiences yet in CL, just dabble in it long enough as I have, and eventually you'll say that for lesser $, you could have had the same or better experience from SW.

I do not know if it is the economy, or the summer, but I like it. I like thin ethnic women, and I was able to find plenty of that, for $80. I also have a couple of regulars who would call when they need money, and offer it for $60. The first week of the month is typically $60 because rent has to be paid.

I spend lots of time in VA and DC, so I do not limit my search to MD.

By comparison, the quality of SWs is way below what most people would consider acceptable -- and still, on top of all of that, they get paid.

I believe that 90% of all mongers on this site deserve better, and willing to pay for something better than your average SW, but not the CraigList prices.

The diminishing SW scene, and the favorable CL trend would strongly suggest that there is a better place in between (happy medium) for all of us.

Well, I still can, without the pill too:) Only toothless hags? Obviously I must be the luckiest SOB alive, because my recent trips over the past month or so have been very good. The Erica from Carey & Sargeant was a once in half a lifetime find. All her teeth, not worn out, nicely dressed, and perfect skin. There's another Ashley from Ostend & James who's a cute spinner type who will blow you in the bathroom of her place with her dad in the next room. Curtis Bay & Brooklyn are back in the picture as of late too.

We have heard of stiffer penalties when it comes to selling drugs near schools and churches, but the anti-prostitution lobby is coming up with something comparable.

Personally, I think it is a good idea because it limits the range of where you can find 9or pick up prostitutes. Such controls lead to favorable regulations, for example, certain parks in Germany are designated Red Zones after 10 PM. Same in London for Drug Parks. Imagine driving to Paterson Park at night to find all the girls, from Abby to Zantoya waiting for you under one tree.
