I had occasion to do a quick 24 hour run up there recently and its true. It's a pooner's paradise.

It did make me think however, if the options are so extensive and we lived there, would we be constantly chasing higher and higher standards based on what's available, or would you be content? There is a sort of attraction in trying to get that which is difficult to get.
As mediocre as Seattle can be, I can't imagine living in an area with a dead scene altogether where you have to drive hours to get anything.

To me, beauty is beauty and it never gets stale, and the hunt for the elusive unicorn whets my appetite every time.

Been going there for vacations for years. I will say Vancouver without question obviously has better selection of races and more intimate services menus.
I would suggest TJ to break up boredom and seek out the brothel scene experience. Hong Kong club is the famous one that I frequent the most. At the moment the other big one Adelita is closed temporarily.
I think Van is still better than TJ because it's better services overall.

Two hotties working there at the time. I think it was the most reviewed spot in Sac on Rubmaps. I really want to try Hong Kong club in TJ, but I'm worring with the loud music and language barrier. I guess some girls habla Ingles, but my Espanol is like a 5 year olds vocabulary and I have a hard time stringing sentences together. LOL!

I find the drive a bit therapeutic. I get claustrophobic if I don't leave town for a month or more. The issue is control. Once you are up you can lose control and see more than planned providers since the drive and time was Invested.

They let you use the Nexus same as Sentri. I don't know if the same privilege applies to using Nexus in the car lanes. I never would drive a car in Mexico so I never looked into it.

The main thing is "Food." Say you're craving some good dim sum and Richmond has the best ones around (Google a few names to throw out). Just straight up tell them you're on a food vacation as food in BC is so much better than Seattle. More variety and better price.
