If by some bizzare set of circumstances the arrest report is accurate and truthful to your version of events, your friends case will be dismissed before trial. Most likely the prosecutor will state close to the time of trial that he is unable to proceed. While not technically entrapment, from your version of events, your friend only agreed with whatever the disguised officer said. A prosecutor will not take that to trial, and many judges will not let a case like that proceed to trial.
