Last Saturday the Baja 1000 race started in Ensenada going all the way down to La Paz.

The town was packed with people. Families and big groups of people, including lots for hot young girls, would live out of cheap motels, BBQ, grill, cook their food and party in the parking lot.

I had to cross the PEDEast side because they close pedwest at 10 pm. Easiest way is to walk across, cab to zone norte, have fun, eat tacos, then taxi back, then walk. Driving across introduces all sorts of complications.

It's a bit away but if you want to park your car securely then leave it in the park lots of Otay (USA side) it's like 10 dollars a day and take a cab or Uber to the revolucion and walk to Coahuila.

This was a few months back, but I crossed back to the US on a Thursday night around midnight using PedWest and there was literally no wait. Not sure is that is a normal thing for the time of night and day or I just got lucky, but it was a welcomed surprise.

One thing for sure, I won't be going to Tijuana until the "caravan" issue is sorted. I simply don't want to risk any issues of returning or dealing with extended lines because of the situation.

You can fly to tijuana from san diego its only a 35 min flight LOL.

Got to Beyer station, jumped on the blue line to San Ysidro, got to Bar Zacar to get a 32 oz and smoke two joints with my brother then got to Coahuila. We went around to watch the street meat then went to Adelitas and since we didn't want to break our budget we headed to the streets again and found a SW we wanted one. I got that urge out of my system. I just got back from there and it was perfectly safe. I understand the worry but I don't think there is anything wrong in Tijuana.

I'm headed to Tijuana this Fri afternoon, going from LB through San Ysidro, staying in Tijuana, coming back Sat afternoon.
