...they are not fucking around in Conyers. They ran another sting yesterday that ran on Fox 5 last night:
http://www.myfoxatlanta.com/story/25016254/4-men-arrested-in-prostitution-sting#axzz2wQSbveSz
Observations:
1. these dudes are in cuffs as soon as they knock on the door. So much for an LE check.
2. When they show the laptop screen, it looks the the other tab in the browser is looking at the oThER site.
3. "We don't want to ruin anyone's life". Showing the john's face and saying his full name on TV is a weird way to go about not ruining their life.
4. All that effort, time, and money for 4 arrests.

At what timestamp in the video did you see it? Agree with you about the bullshit comment from the ugly witch about "not trying to ruin their lives." Shit, she's ugly enough to ruin perfectly good vision with her face, regardless of arrest methods. Scares me to think who may be desperate enough to fuck something that ugly.
And, I'm very curious how someone knocking on a no-tel door can be busted (or have the charges stick) without so much as uttering a word.
I'm just waiting for someone to accidentally knock on the wrong hotel door, react poorly to the totally unexpected surprise of a bunch of armed men dogpiling him, and then to get gunned down in the process. Police are literally totally out of control these days.
O.
If that happens, I would hope that it's some rich dude with a lot of money and influence who can put a serious dent in po-lice activities and hopefully get a few of those overly ambitious pigs put in jail.

Curious why you suspect this ad could lead to a sting? Location is Alpharetta and all the talk is in Conyers?

[BLUE]Guys there are a couple prohibited topics on this board. I just deleted a bunch of posts, check the rules guys.

I don't get it, how do the 24 hour massage parlors like oasis, k spa, wa wa stay open while others in johns creek get busted? The 24 hour ones obviously offering extras don't get busted, but the ones in the burbs do. Is it a local police problem, do the ones in atlanta just not care and the ones in the suburbs don't have anything better to do?

Most of the busts are motivated by local complaints. Folks in the suburbs are more likely to actually complain about such things (and local PD are more likely to listen) than in Atlanta proper.
Just another thing to loathe about the suburbs.

Not sure 100% if these are the same 5 (my spidey sense tells me it is). Saw this on AJC this morning.

As usual be safe out there...
For shits and giggles, go to the Johns Creek City website and read their rules for massage parlors. One of the newer owners out that way asked me to help interpret them for them. They are freakin crazy. They are written to ticky tacky them into submission. The other cities typically agree its basically a victimless crime and have bigger fish to fry. When they bring up sex slave issues with the AMP's in the JC area, it makes me laugh out loud. I have NEVER seen one less than mid twenties and most in late 30's to 40's just trying to make a living.

This is free green cards for them. Once they have ratted out the owners, the police and FBI will automatically classified the case as sex slaves cases to boost up the statistics. During the superbowl, they claim that 100,000 sex workers worked in the city. This is crazy. This is like 5% of the total population or 10% of the women. Our approach in the USA is crazy. We should learn from Amsterdam where prostitution is legal, there are no pimps and health is important. Sex crimes is low and very little sex slavery. The girls are protected and their services counts towards their social security.
