Just to clarify, Kapalua is a town on Maui north of Lahaina. It's not actually a resort. Stayed at the Ritz Carlton there once... is niiiiiiiiiiice, as Borat would say.

Maybe he is working on a new, ultra-private, exclusive members-only forum free from LE, LC and providers where we can post explicitly without the "other side" figuring out who is who like in the days of GAIH.

Or maybe he retired and or died.

I believe he is in the Land of Smiles, City of Angels. Thailand that is. He may have mentioned it that he was planning of going on a vacation in that direction. Hope all is well with Kaps and he comes back with more awesome stories.

Thailand has a lot of internet cafes even out in isaan (the sticks). As poster-extraordinaire, I'm sure Kap would have reported back on his good fortune.

So what's the consensus? It's been awhile since anyone has posted here. Has he passed? I hope not, but it has been a long time

The fact that it's been so long, and that he didn't say anything to anyone (that we know of) about leaving/taking a break/walking away from it all, doesn't look good. I hope to God I'm wrong, but I fear we've lost our Grand Gentleman of the forum.

I was just thinking about that; would he quietly walk away to avoid the inevitable torrential input of questions had he made an announcement (which might not be his style IMHO) or told anyone?

As another member reported, he stopped at 1500 posts flat and that does seem like quite a coincidence.

Right now all we can do is remember him, and a good way to remember him is for us to be excellent to each other since he was excellent to us - as well as providers.

Can't help but miss Kap! He lived here!! He was nothing but positive about everything said in here.

I don't think it's his style to just walk away without a single word.....hope I'm wrong, I really do.

Hey Kap, HI! wherever you are.

I'm sure "something" happened. What that "something" is, who knows. A month or so before he stopped posting I got a PM from him asking me about some tips regarding getting into shape and in better general health. It stemmed from me mentioning the way AMP girls like hard bods on their clients, so that prompted his PM. I'm hoping it has nothing to do with health because he did make it sound as if his health wasn't the best.

We are all one heart attack, one stroke, one car wreck, etc., away from not ever posting again I guess...

I hope he's OK, we need more of his wisdom.

Did anybody know Kap off the boards?

Maybe they could call him to see if he's OK.
