I went by the place today. They have weird hours. M-F 10AM - 7PM and Saturday 9AM - 4PM. I will try again next week. They were close. It might be the same as Asian Spa.

Okay, I did a drive by and almost walked in but I doubt it is an AMP. I was walking towards the door to open and I noticed an Afircan American Female sitting at the reception desk which is very visable as you walk to the front door. She had a silk blouse and jeans and tennis shoes. I turned around. I guess I was intimadated. Also, there was not the popular OPEN Neon light on. So, I aborted the mission. Anybody else is welcome to try.

..used to live in area. That Spa is stricktly legit. Owners are into African-Holistic practices. Most businesses in that shopping center are run by Baptist/
other Born Again Christian Families.
and my dentist office is there too.
There are some apartments behind the shopping center that could easily house a potential working girl or two. Even recall seeing a post last year about a possible near the laundromat. But no verification on that one.
Right now if I had to bet on the following
1. P4P in York county.
2. Rev. Jesse Jackson being elected grand wizard of the klan.
I'd put my money on Jackson.
Somehow, this area, and not just York County, but the entire Hampton Roads/Tidewater area, has managed to keep the girls off the streets. :(
P.S. I am not trying to be racist here, just looking for a really obvious contradiction and that is about as contradictory an act as I can think of.
I went by Asian Spa early this afternoon and it was locked, front and rear. There was a handwritten sign inside the front window that read "Closed by the Newport News Police Department and I.C.E." I have no idea who "I.C.E." is but I got the feeling that it probably won't be reopening any time soon. Kind of a sad note. There was one small potted plant outside in the back. I guess one of the girls figured they wouldn't be back to water it and hoped it would survive on its own.

I.C.E. is immigration. I knew the Spa wouldn't last too long. I was going to stop by tonight. I went Monday and had an incredible time.
That does suck. I was headed there in the morning for my 3rd visit. I guess I'll be $120 richer unless I can find some other trouble to get into.

Man, I was at the Asian Spa twice last week and it was great, It's a shame the boys in blue can't find something else to do with there time
I drove by tonight around 10pm. The light was on and there was no closed sign. I drove to the 7-11 across the street and called the number listed in the sports section. An Asian lady answered and said they were open. I couldn't get any info from her but she said come by. I will be the first to admit that I am not going to be the first to make a visit right now.

I checked the Newport News Police website for reported arrests at

and found there were three arrests on the (700) block of their street (Central Division) on Friday June 22. The arrests were for "Dang Drugs", "Prostitution" and "Frequent House Ill".
I don't know that the arrests were related to our spa but it seems likely. I'm glad they have (apparently) re-opened but this is still a flashing yellow light if not a flashing blue light (not the K-Mart special).
I have to go with OldSailor on this one.
They very easily could have opened it back up as part of a sting operation. Especially how quickly it was re-opened.
The frequent house charge lends me to believe a John got busted as well.
Too much heat for me.

Allright guys. I went this morning (Sunday) about 10: 30AM. First customer I believe. Anyway drove by a few times looing for anything suspicious. Parked about a block away, popped a xanex and strolled on in. They seemed a little jumpy. Drew Ann. For the first time no table shower, sauna, or steam was offered. Straight to massage which lasted maybe 10 minutes then she very, very quietly asked what else I wanted. I requested a certain Massage Modality that I enjoy (Aromatherapy):.), she performed it and I was out the door and didn't look back.
