I doubt this would ever happen, since the busts are for licensing, not prostitution. They'd have no reason to hold you, because it's not illegal to receive an unlicensed massage, but it is (apparently) illegal to give one. (Which is just plain silly.)

I'd say it was a political thing, but somehow I don't see LMTs as having a particularly powerful lobbying organization. Those laws were put in place years ago to shut down the biker-run massage parlors. Waste of tax dollars.
I did see someone here ask why the spas didn't just pay to get the girls licensed. The answer is that is expensive, time consuming, and the test is actually pretty damned hard. A friend of mine went through the process a few years ago, and I was amazed at the detail the course material had. Given the limited command of English that most of the spa girls have, I don't see them passing.

The girls at Yokohama and Japanese Spa are licensed.
They all do lousy massage and a lame tug.
So lets have them give table showers before the massage and a pre-massage before the one LMT gives the 5 minute massage.
Is Osaka really closed?
Are there any other massage parlors in that area that give same service?
Well I was going to ask about info for a place to relax. But from what I read Tampa is looking more like Louisville everyday.

I had a dream that I went to a AMP in Tampa that recently opened. The house rates were the standard $60 for a half and $80 for a full hour. The girls were a little younger than the Osaka girls were maybe late 20's early 30's and all wore bikini tops with short sarong type wraps own their bottoms. I went there in late December. They had two "girls" there, both old and extremely ugly. Still, the one that took care of me was very courteous and nice. Good TS (she even washed my hair!), below average massage and a HJ, without the hopes of anything else.
I don't plan to go back.

Now a smarter newbie would see if the mamasan would discount or comp the house fee for an increase in business attributal to Newbie.
"Hi, Mamasan, Uncle Sam sent me" or "I hear the tea in Seoul is especially good this year" catch phrases might earn you a few free sessions or fringe benefits.
