The two most prominent sugar daddy sites right now are probably Seeking Arrangement and SugarDaddyMeet. Both sites require a paid membership to send messages to and receive messages from sugar babies. I have some practical advice to share and perhaps other peopl can chime in.

1) Typically, a sugar daddy might pay for access to a website by using his credit card, but I recommend you not to do this. At least not with your personal card. Instead, purchase a Visa or MasterCard gift card from a drug store or grocer. Make sure you pay for the card with cash and load money on it with cash. When you have purchased your card, it operates like any Visa or MasterCard. Usually, you can log onto the card's website and enter the zip code attached to the card. This is crucial if you are making an online purchase; most vendors will match the zip code. You can also enter an address. Again, you may want to be discreet about the address that you use. I can't endorse fraud, so I won't say anymore, except to mention that the address is merely for matching purposes when you make a purchase.

2) Sites like Seeking Arrangement are designed to milk as much money from you as possible. I favor a "shotgun" approach to messaging prospects. I send out as many messages as possible, while trying to make the message look original and unique. Most sugar babies receive a ton of messages and most of them are the copy-and-paste variety. If you're a good typist, it's possible to use a copy-and-paste intro message while still typing something pertinent to the woman's profile.

3) Like with Backpage, it's crucial to do your research. Try to get a cell number or email address as soon as possible. I always opt for a cell number. Facebook is a good resource for trying to learn as much about your prospect as possible. For example, you may want to ascertain if the prospect looks like a heavy drug user on FB while her photos on SA are prestine.

4) Protect your identity. Use a texting application like TextMe or TextNow to communicate. Use disposable email addresses. If a sugar baby asks for your photo, upload a photo to tinypic and delete it as soon as she sees it. She may save the photo on her phone and that may be a necessary evil, but I don't advise sharing your LinkedIn or Facebook account with anyone.

Once again, I'm not suggesting that sugar daddies ought to be secretive or deceptive. I'm merely advising everybody to take steps to protect one's identity.

This is just a tidbit, but if you've been on the SD scene for a while, you might remember a website called SD4 Me. It was fairly popular before the advent of SA and Ashley Madison. Now SD4 Me is a graveyard. Some babies use it as a 2nd or 3rd choice website and some providers use it as well, but it's just not very popular anymore. In case you've ever wondered why it fell so far so fast, there is a backdoor website (actually two or three of them) in which you could use your SD4 Me and read / send messages without having to pay a subscription fee. I'm not sure if it really was her father or not, or if it's her getting some of her friends to try and intimidate me because I refused her requests and stopped responding to her, but I also have to consider the fact that she might not have been who she said she was on there, and it was actually some of her family members finding out about her side gig. The whole situation is baffling, but I'm inclined to believe that she was mainly just bitter and upset. Whatever the case is though, I'm glad that I use a texting app instead of my actual number.
