Would love to hear any inside info. Dunno how you go from wet trunks to getting a dance somewhere.
First of all, never listen to any cabbie or ride providers. They are in it only for commissions they could collect from taking you somewhere. This can include stripclubs, bars, clubs, lounges, massage parlors, and even some stores and markets! Its such a thing that there is even an app for listing "kickbacks" that places offer. The pools at stripclubs are a total waste of time, with low level talent and inflated prices. The best talent only work at night when the money is there inside the club. Vegas stripclubs have some talent, but expect to pay a premium for everything.
Sapphire pool didn't re-open this summer.
Not surprising, there's a reason strip joints are pitch black. Some of these girls don't look so good in the light of day.
Older guy coming to town solo soon. Thinking I might stop into the Hippo for a visit, mainly for shits and giggles since yep, I went to the old OG a few times way back in the day.
Not looking for FS, OTC, or anything like that. Probably just some dances, "flirting", and bullshitting with the ladies. MAYBE making out and up to HJ at the very outside, but it sounds like even that is unlikely at best. So, can a guy have fun in there for maybe a couple hours if I walk in with around 400-500 bucks, or will that amount be gone way too fast?? Thanks in advance.
Nothing recent so this info might not be useful, haven't been back since the shooting outside the club last year. (I was actually there shortly after it happened as they sealed off the lot) Didn't know what was going on at the time but I needed to pick someone up that works there.
I can tell you the 400-500 won't last a few hours. Drink alone is going to cost you. You could probably squeeze in one or two (VIP) dances 15 minutes each runs you 150 (then the waitress and dancer expects a tip!) so probably 200 right there. Don't expect making out at that price. It can happen but you'll need to book at least 30-60 minutes time slot with the right dancer.
I've "heard" things can also happen in the parking lot (if the moon aligns) during the day with the right dancer. Again, the dancer will need to tip out security / management so that's going to run you.
Good luck and definitely request a "tour" if you want to check out the back area, kind of cool.

Dropped by Chicas Friday at 11 a. First dude in the door. Got a Corona and sat at bar; about 5 girls there at opening, including 2 from Cuba and one from LA. Cubans didn't speak English but I had a nice chat with LA girl. She told me several times "no pressure" for dance (refreshing). Of course, I took her to VIP room for a $25 7-minute dance (luck, she even commented how long the song was). Ordered another $6 Corona at the bar and a local Vegas native swooped in after my first sip, her hands, arms and legs all over me. Undoubtedly saw me come out of VIP. Really enjoyed a 20 minute chat with her and went for what turned out to be an amazing dance. Both dances allowed my hands to go wherever I wanted; second dance alot of PtoP CG grinding and I got her digits on the d / l. I left a happy man a little after noon and will be back. (BTW, when I left there were a total of about 5 dudes there to about 20 or so girls, the vast majority which were young and attractive. They were mostly talking to one another in small groups. I was surprised there were that many there at noon. Maybe b / c Friday? The ones I talked to worked from 11 a-7 p. I liked that it was chill at that time; will try a different day at noon during the week.).
Sapphire pool didn't re-open this summer.
This is most likely hearsay, I've heard from a dancer that used to work there said the real reason it's closed is due to new owner / upper management.
Not sure if anyone's been to the "new" Las Vegas Strip club. (yes very original name!) It's basically the old Sophia's which I never been to either.
Way too many positive reviews so far so either they're fake or it's actually true! Curious if anyone's been yet, I'll probably answer my own question soon and will report back.
I've been curious about this "new" club, even though there's some bad reviews, I had to find out and I'm glad I did! Quick review since I can go on and on.
No cover. I went in 6 pm, 1 dancer, no pat down, NV I'd.
Destiny. Bartender, great personality, super cute, petite, also dances at another club.
Marilyn. Tall ink blonde, been in the biz at least a decade, cool to hang out.
Alisha. Came from another big club, very cool to hang as well.
Lonnie. Day time manager, super cool, comped 2 drinks, gave me drink discounts + FREE burger!
Bree. Night time bartender, very chill.
Hookah waitress. Didn't get name but her and Bree was cool with me Sampling it.
Sunny. Dancer from another club, using different name here. She's moon lighting it!
Scott. Night time manger (I'm guessing since he's in a suit).
Chef. Didn't get name but he cooked up some good burger!
Drink prices: $8 before 7 pm (Lonnie was cool to extend this for me).
Dance prices: 40 each floor, or 3 for 100.
VIP upstairs, 50 for the drinks (I'm guessing 2?) then it's 100 for the dancer but prices may vary (higher depends on the girl).
Stayed past midnight and I bolted, there's at least a dozen girls by then. Zero pressure on getting dances, will be back!
Sapphire pool didn't re-open this summer.
This doesn't feel like a big loss.
If you want to do the pool party thing in Vegas, there are plenty of them that are more upscale and have just as much eye candy, even if you can't ask the ladies at those for lap dances.
Plus, the mechanics of doing strip club stuff in a pool just seem odd. I assume you've got to come dressed for the pool -- swim trunks, towel, etc. I assume you've got to have cash on you, which isn't easy in pool attire. Plus, lappers? In the pool? With both of you sopping wet outside the pool?
I'm sure they had some way of it all working, or tying to make it work. But beyond maybe bachelor parties that made a day there a part of their plan, it doesn't seem like the kind of place you can have a good time at on an impulse, and I think a lot of strip club business is impulse business.
The club is already giant as it is, but still, maybe there's a better use for that space.
Anyone know of this beauty? You can shoot me a message if you have any info thanks!!
Though I never got there, I'd been to all the other adult Vegas strip pools pre-covid and Sapphire was on the to-do list. My research at the time indicated that strip-club dances were not allowed and it wasn't even toptional. I don't believe you could enter the club in a (dry) swimsuit either. It sounded more like a stripper meet-and-greet with exorbitant drink prices.
Everytime I thought about hailing a taxi to go to the Sapphire Pool I elected to walk to Bare or TAO or Caesars or Mandalay Bay or Wynn / Encore instead. A strip-club pool concept seems genius, but it falls flat with all the rules. Perhaps the concept would be more profitable in a city without other adult pools to compete with.

Originally, strippers and patrons had to wear pasties. The last couple of years they were allowed to be topless with exposed nipples. Most of the waitresses and bartenders were topless. The strippers had to wear pink wrist bands so you could easily identify them. You had to go inside for dances, and they only did them in the VIP, so it was something like 3 songs for $100 and buy a drink. There were no dances outside. With the discount they gave locals, it was a much cheaper option than the other day clubs at the casinos. They did not open this summer. No word on whether or not it is coming back next summer. You could call to get picked up at your hotel and they sent a shuttle bus.
It used to be commonplace to get a stripper handshake upon entering, but now it's virtually non-existent. And even dancers who walk around and try to solicit dances no longer give their sales pitch in that manner. I'm only a daytime visitor, but during several visits in the past couple of months I've not been greeted in this manner.
