Also, is "Maryland City" a real place? I haven't found any real SBs "from" there either.

That said, I will point out that Maryland City is a legit place. So is California, MD!
First time I saw the latter on a girl's profile, I messaged her saying there's no way. To her credit, she took it in stride and said to look it up. I apologized for my earlier remark and ended up seeing her for just drinks a few weeks prior to the governor's stay-at-home order. Her asking price for after-hours fun was too much (600+), but she was really chill about everything and easily the most stunning Middle Eastern girl I've ever met. After that night, I lost track of her as she either blocked me (doubtful) or took her profile down during the pandemic (probable).

I wasn't chosen as a beta tester, but I'd be very interested to see how it plays out. I think it'll certainly help sort many fakes who claim to look like their pics without having to leave home.
Of course, they could claim not to have a camera hooked up to their PC. But since most of the ones sold since 2017 (or earlier) do have that tech already in place, you could reasonably call bullshit. And if they make a fuss about privacy, well then you also reserve the right to not show your shit either.
On an unrelated side note: if it's listed on the SB's profile, always always always check the last login location. If they're claiming to be in DC while the login location says Slovakia, then that's as obvious as it gets people. Don't even bother giving them the time of day, block them, then move on. Been noticing so much of this lately.

There was a bit of a hiccup about her being "busy" on our first try. But then it came through. Worked great. Quality was much better than I thought it would be.
However, I doubt I'll ever really use it. Unless I can convince the girl to show her face without seeing mine.

If you go to Google Maps and go to "Maryland City", any building / street address within the area comes up as Laurel. I've lived in HoCo / AACo my entire life and never heard anyone say they're from MD City. I highly doubt those profiles are legit, but I guess you never know.
SA will need to maintain copies of all video messaging so than can both police and protect themselves from claims that the site is used for prostitution. They will likely have a 6 month retention policy like they do with e-mails. I would not want a video of my talking to a Sugar Baby in the hands of SA for 6 months at a time.
I want to communicate less on SA and not more.

I been using Skype and facetime just for verification. Most of the time it just us waving at each other. Remember most of these girls don't want what there doing leaking out as well. Any msg about money, or what's going to happen is on the date is my burner phone. There are $15 prepaid phone plans.

Would it be a deal breaker if they claim they can't? Not necessarily, it all depends on the vibe I'm getting, how the convo's moving along and if we're hitting it off nicely, etc. But video capabilities as another means of verification without leaving home? Fuck yeah, so kudos to SA for adding a useful feature!
That said, you're right about the need to move the real juicy discussions off of SA. Hence why Lobsid, myself, and others will likely use that video feature exclusively for legitimacy checks.
