Even if they are fake, getting licenses is a hassle, and if you get inspected or raided, and you don't have valid licenses, you can be shut down even if there is no evidence of anything else. By opening as an "aromatherapy" location, a business can operate without massage licenses. It's pretty ingenious, actually. I learned this first-hand going to a place in Reseda many years ago. They almost got angry when I asked if they do massage. "NO! Aromatherapy only!" and then you go back into the room, the provider brings in a little tray of scents and tells you to disrobe, and the rest is what you would expect. Yes, there are legitimate aromatherapy places, but they won't tell you to disrobe, and they are not in seedy buildings.

If you go in asking for a massage, they'll laugh at you and tell you that you're at the wrong place. Hello everyone, it's been quite some time since I've posted anything so I'm happy to contribute. I've been going to Nicole's pretty consistently for the past few years.
