TLDR: stay away. Coincidentally, she was at the same motel that Princess stood me up at in Manassas. I think that may just be a bad area, I saw lots of LE cars a few streets away but it seemed to be for a different reason. (Can someone with experience in this area help me with which places to avoid? If so, please PM). Anyway, this provider claimed to be new and I didn't find much on her. She was very responsive though so I decided to take the plunge. When I get there, I call her and then the red flags started popping up. She kept making excuses to delay giving me room no. (shower, LE check, looking outside to see if everything is ok, etc.). Ignored all of them and waited for 20 minutes.
Just when I'm about to take off, she gives room no. Against my best judgment, I go in and she looked nothing like the pictures. At least in her 40's, in good shape in her bikini and not ugly but definitely not the woman in the pictures. I thought I'd stick around for a bit longer as I really needed to pee after waiting / driving for so long LOL. So, then I ask and make a beeline to the bathroom. She barely had time to say OK as I open the door, and lo and behold, there is another woman, spinner-type with curly hair sitting in a tiny bathroom, hoping she wouldn't be noticed haha. At this point, I should've bolted but really needed to pee and they both didn't mind so I went inside as Girl 2 got out. There were towels on the floor and (I think?) blood / dirt on them. I scanned for needles but saw none. Once I relieved myself, I began thinking straight and decided to bolt. When I get out, I made an excuse of being sick as I walked towards the door. Girl 1 jumped in between me and the door and demanded. 2 for "using the bathroom. " I happily obliged and got out of there.
It's visits like these that make me rethink whether all this effort is worth it. Later, I tried to figure out where I went wrong and aside from finding a dodgy reverse image search, I'm not sure if I could've done anything different in my last-minute research. Maybe I'm just rusty given the long layoff. Anyways, would be happy to hear if anyone can find red flags that I missed. In the meantime, stay safe out there boys. It's easy to say in hindsight going with a provider who has no reports is a redflag, but honestly that just beckons back to the impact of this site. I think you did the smart thing by jumping ship and I don't think you missed any red flags. A wise poker player knows when to fold. You didn't win this round, but you cut your losses so that you'll have the $ to play the next so take pride in that. You took a blind risk and even in the world of stock markets taking a blind risk seldom yields success. You minimize the risk when you go to a provider whose been reported and it's easy to hedge your bets by choosing a provider where other mongers have done the homework for you. But that knowledge you've obtained is useful and by TOFFT you've done your diligence in helping the collective. For that, I give you a soldiers salute.
