In any case, we are close to 700 k deaths into it, so the facts are there for people. My opinion is that people who don't want it just need to accept that life will become more difficult for them without it due to restrictions. I know a few people who literally quit very high paying jobs because of vaccine refusal. I might not agree with their stance, but they have the conviction to stick to it and they just accept the limitations and do not complain. Has it occurred to you that the vaccine is not stopping the delta? Why are we being forced to take a vaccine that does not prevent infection? If the flu vaccine is optional and it is based on variants assumed to be the most transmitted for the season, should this virus also have the same stance? I don't care if people get the vaccine or not, but if people don't and life isn't as easy for those people due to restrictions, then that is how it is. Whatever your theories behind big pharma or whatever political stance behind it, it's a tragedy to have close to 700 k Americans who lost their lives to it. Even a fraction of that is a staggering number, if you don't want to believe it was all COVID. We have to do something, I'm not an epidemiologist and have no idea what else can be done, but the vaccine is minors.
