The syringes themselves are not illegal what you might put in them is another story. My wife is a diabetic and her insurance doesn't cover the syringes so we don't even bother getting a prescription for them. But I've never had any issues just going to Walmart and tell them I need a couple boxes of syringes.

But anyway, I have heard that the farm supply needles aren't as fine and sharp as regular medical needles. Meaning that they hurt like a *****.
