My point being this: If you are going to thrive in the current market as a middleman, then you need to offer flat-rate pricing and women who are a cut above the ones that customers can find on the indy scene. After reading several good and bad reviews about Mallory, I decided to give her a try as she is in my neck of the woods. She was nice on the phone, easy to work with (although she was a little late getting ready) , and had a fairly clean in-call. She's a very pretty girl; not a model-type, but cute to the 'nth power. Gary: you've got a niche, no question. However, I (like many) hope you'll take Todd's critiques constructively. Price your services based on what the market will bare (pun intended). Otherwise, your business model likely only preys on unknowing and unvouched newbies. Do you even get repeat clients? Members of a board like this (especially seniors) won't likely pay attention to your offerings (as I have not) for the very reasons pointed out by Todd. When you have a hot little firecracker / sure thing like Dawn, Molly, Lexi, Fan-four etc. Why would anyone futz around with a service such as yours? I'm sure many board members are already missing Buddah until he returns from his hiatus. He wrote the book when it comes to your kind of business model. You may consider emulating it.

With all due respect, you also need to ditch the old pics of "Tia," whom I did see in 1997. You have her age on the Cincinnati site as 26. (Was she 11 in '97?) You also have her listed on your Dallas sub-site, where you have her age as 30. (Are you really going to send Tia to Dallas?)

Looking at the marketing blurb on the BestShows site, your pitch seems to be,"You guys can't trust independent providers, so you should come to me for overpriced inner city women with large booties." Anyone who does a bit of research knows that this is not the case. To be sure, there are rip-offs on BP, but there are also many trustworthy local independent ladies, like those found on this site.

To put this in outline form, I would make the following suggestion to BestShows (or anyone who wanted to start an agency) :

(1.) Don't insult your customers' intelligence: You will score no points with old pics, marketing-through-fear tactics, and similar ploys. In 1999, research was difficult to come by. Now anyone can find vetted reviews on any number of sites.

(2.) Offer something better / different: I realize that not every guy on here shares my exclusive preference for providers who are young, attractive, and slender. Some guys don't mind providers who are older / heavier. However, there are already *plenty* of older / heavier women on the indy market. We don't need an agency like Best Shows to give the hobbyists of Cincinnati one more overweight or middle-aged provider.

If I were running an agency, I would focus on bringing to market what is more rare on the indy scene: the young, the attractive, the stunning. As a middleman, you won't make money on overweight and older providers. There is simply too much competition in those niches among the indies.

(3.) Keep it simple and straightforward: The whole "stripper agency" guise used by Best Shows / Cincy Seductions, etc. Is obsolete. Too many of us have been burned by these arrangements in the past, by women who use the stripper label as a pretext to cash-and-dash. No one (except an extreme newbie) is willing to run that risk anymore.

Once again, Gary, I don't mean to be harsh. I was a frequent flyer with you ten years ago and would like to do business with you again.

Thanks for your suggestions, I will get to work on some of them right away. Things take time though. Tia pic is a placeholder in other cities on the Bestshows website. I think some of her pics are new and some are old. I think a company such as ours still has a place, Why? Most of the people on this board are really wise to most of the scams run by girls, but I assure you that most of the public is not. I get calls everyday from guys that have been ripped off from independent girls and the girls that work for the two companies coming out of the East side. To be honest, I get the feeling that a lot of those girls / companies see customers as "Marks" and not as customers that they want to do long term business with, but if your experience varies, that is good. Our goal at our company is to form long term friendships with our customers, so that when they want services we provide, it is a hassle free, non worrying experience for them, as much as we can make it so, and if things go wrong, they have someone to turn to.

We offer strippers, there is a variety of reasons for this but basically, it is just what I want to do. I am trying to give guys an experience with a beautiful women, so they can enjoy themselves for a bit. We want everyone that does business with us to be satisfied with the services, but not that satisfied. From my own personal experiences we had a lot more fun with strippers, than girls we found walking around the streets of over the rhine. I have always envisioned strippers as being more of the quality of girlfriends than street walkers. Who knows though, everybody likes a variety of things. We can't really be all things to all people, we aren't really trying to do that. I am sure most everyone on here know this, but just to be sure. Bestshows keep getting mentioned a lot, but most people on this board come in contact with the companies out of the East more than us. Their offers are too good to be true, mostly fake model pics. For the past month or so, they have been running their company ads though too. They keep changing their company names. On backpage, they occupy probably 70% of the daily post. I have seen discussions on this board about these fake ads, wondering about the girls in these ads. Are the owners of these companies members on this board? For the average guy, the likely hood of a sure thing when he orders of of backpage is probably 20, the likely hood of him being ripped off or feeling taken advantage of is much higher.

Now Todd has some good points about a large variety of topics, but I don't think I have even seen a large discussion of these fake pic companies out of the east. These companies have it as their business model to run fake pics every 15 minutes, and then to send out whoever. I am not sure if the owners of these companies are members on this board or not.
