There are other considerations than safety. The line to go back will be much shorter better 10 pm and 3 am. You save more than an hour of waiting. Parking is cheaper. There will be a lot of hot girls during these hours and more importantly, it won't be as crowded with dudes.

Safety wise it's generally about the same, I take the nicer set of cabs from the two on offer after you come out of pedeast. You can also take the stretch limo owned by HK. Both are safe.

I went to Tropical bar the other night and rented a room for an evening at Rizo De Oro. I had a girl come up for 40 minutes that was on the clocks. We always had to use a hotel other than the Chicago hotel so I didn't need to pay outrageous charges like the ones you describe.

" I think you got unlucky with this girl and the staff that was working that day (probably looking for extra cash). I had this situation happen before and I just refused to pay the extra fee. I don't recommend driving across the border because the line back can be crazy. I would generally park in an area right before you cross the border and just walk thru. HK have free shuttles that can take you to the club and back to the border so you will be completely safe. Look for the Zonal Shuttle building its a small complex that's runs along the line of people trying to walk out, I am sure if you ask around some one will direct you.

Coming back by foot, if you leave before 8 AM or earlier, even on a Sunday morning you will probably be out in 30 minutes or less.
