Through my professional contacts I am privy to information on the rise of gangs in eastern NC. Specifically, latino gangs in Jax and AA gangs in Wilm. For the first offense of prostitution, the person can actually have the charges discharged, meaning if they meet certain conditions it is wipe from their record like it never happened. Subsequent charges of prostitution are misdemeanors. Not much incentive to work with the police.
When you hear of lady's working with the police, 99 time out of 100 it is because they likely had party supplies (typically a felony, unless its less than an ounce of pot). The police are VERY interested in where they get their party supplies, and typically likely to work up the ladder. The cops have little interest in letting people "work off" felonies, but busting people for misdemeanors.
People where starting rumors about a lady that had a problem in SC. Rumors are a terrible thing to get started, and there is no way legally Horry County, SC can let her "work off charges" in NC. And I notice see already back and advertising here.
