So I've been reading the board for about a year now and I just had some questions / thoughts that I hope might make this board a bit more livelier.

Has anyone had much luck with the hobby on bicycle or by foot? Any safer? I am an avid bike rider and the thought of picking up some #s this way seems like more fun then dealing with the hassle and danger of being in a car.

On the other hand the girls do tend to not give you the look as much when you're not in a car.

ALSO I love hearing old stories about how things use to be in Chicago. So lets hear some old stories about the hobby in Chicago. Who's got the best/hottest/creepiest most dangerous story out there from back in the day?

Well I was out on the prowl last night midnight to 3AM just to see what was out there. It was somewhat dead until 1am as it must have been a SW convention on Cicero between 5th and I290 as it had to be at least 15 girls out on that stretch alone. There was a marcy that went by the moniker of jessica at 44th near leamington that was murdered by headbashing, then dumped in the park on 43rd and near leamington. She fits your description but I'm not sure of her eye color. She pissed a lot of people off over there, but I don't think she deserved to die. She was cool to me. I generally avoid picking up any girls between Cicero and the train tracks 3-4 blocks east. LEO runs stings there regularly and like you said there are always cops nearby.
