He has always been seen as a liberal judge I was in front of him in 1984 on a misdemeanor he basically let me off the hook I had no previous history and he took it off my record. They had the cameras on him at the scene and he was crying. I felt bad for everybody involved.

Something happens, go back in the file to a few minutes before the incident, set the time forward and unplug the video lead and then wait a few and barely reconnect it.

Camera is good, then records nothing and then comes back with a bad pic.

Calloused me to suggest such a thing. Additionally the research dept is looking to see if the decedant ever appeared before the Judge in any of her 43 past and present cases? Nothing seems obvious and of course even if there was such a coincidence this is not to suggest that there is any nefarous activity there, just merely a conicidence. Further reporting on that will be forthcoming, if and only if there are details to report.

One additional piece of minutia is that the decedant was due to make an appearance on 12/20 on Main St for a pending case involving a glass pipe. Bless her soul, she should no longer be dealing with those struggles in her current place; at least if you believe that such an after-place exists. RIP!

Anyone else see this series? They play up the human trafficking angle a lot. Last night they did stings on BP down in Florida at a hotel. At one point they showed the holding room (a hotel room) with all the busted SP and johns. One of the busted johns was actually on his honeymoon. Felt sorry for these guys as most were married and looked very distraught. Makes you think twice.

In the meantime, I think the only option is to take steps to minimize the risks:

1). See only vetted, trusted providers. I pass up a lot of interesting ads on BP. Not worth the risks.

2). Avoid agencies that employ foreign women. These are always targets, because foreign women are often "assumed" to be victims of human trafficking.

3). See independents whenever possible. LE seems to favor stings on "prostitution rings" rather than on individual providers. Even in the Maine Zuma case (Google Alexis Wright) a man was in the background, helping to launder the money.

4). Especially avoid interstate agencies. These agencies often have great selections, but they are also big targets.

5). When you find a provider or two (or three) who works for you, stick with them. You have much less chance of getting busted then. And if you *do* get mixed up in a bust, you can claim that you had an ongoing "sugar daddy" relationship, which is technically not prostitution.

6). I've said this before, but nothing is dumber than the arrangement in which meetings take place in motel rooms, one guy after another, all day. Escort services should be outcall only. If you're married, then rent a motel room. That is much less risky than when a provider rents a motel room and conducts repeated business there.

7). Avoid AMPs. I love AMPs. But every AMP goes down, sooner or later.

8). No SWs: Not only are most of these women toothless crack addicts, but SW customers are the top targets of LE. For LE, they're like shooting fish in a barrel. That $30 car date isn't such a bargain, after all.

A lot of these rules (except #8) run counter to my preferences. I would much rather deal with an agency than an independent, because agencies are far more convenient for scheduling, and offer greater variety. Scheduling with indies is often a pain in the keister.

I still think that the long term trend is toward legalization, but in the meantime, they are going to ruin a lot of innocent lives. Better to stay safe than be sorry.

Re #6 what have you seen happen as far as motel / hotel incalls? I know many well known SP operate out of these incalls.

I have no problems myself going to motel/hotel incalls, but there is a risk. Especially if the provider is a high volume girl, then the repeated in/out of people in the room can draw attention that may not be wanted for anyone. I know I don't like to go past the front desk if I don't have to but that is just my preference. Just try to choose providers that you trust and not high volume.

Reading and Listening to these zealots talks about the subject is much like listening to a political speech when they repeatedly use previously circulated "talking points". How many times do they use the term "human trafficking" or "sex trade trafficking"? If they say these words enough they will garner more attention, oh, and more MONEY too. With money comes power and influence.
