This is a well known scam. Ignore it. I called my lawyer when I got a call just like this. I too was freaked out. My caller ID even listed the correct phone number of the local FBI. My lawyer had a good laugh when I told him the story (my lawyer knows that I have mongered in the past). He said that the FBI doesn't call up Johns when they investigate trafficking or underage prostitution. They simply show up at your house, usually before 6 am.
So what was the scammer looking for. Just busting balls does not make sense. Figure they would want money. About a year or two before covid. Ya that's how I track time now. I missed a call on my own non monger phone. I recognized the number as my local PD business line. I called it and asked if they were trying to reach me. They said no, we exchanged some quick chat and common greetings and that was that. I am seeing more and more fake numbers or should I call them counterfeit numbers now than ever before.
