Hey guys. Ok I found a girl in south Burlington. She sent me a nice pic via text but doesn't take cash. We went through the whole pay pal Venmo thing and I refused. Then she asked me to simply hit the store and get a gift card for the amount because she doesn't want cash around. Any red lights for anyone? Any help would be great. If it works out I'll re post with details. Thanks.

Her thinking was, a gift card payment is a gift vs cash, which could keep her safe from prosecution if set up in a sting.
Not saying she was correct. Just stating her reasoning. She operated for years on that premise. Never took cash.
As long as the card is exchanged "after" the deed is done, who cares what the payment is?
So sorry to have upset you Hens, but I don't feel I've done anything wrong. I found only one actual post about the provider I was asking about, and I simply wanted a second. Instead of being rude to someone you've never met, why not just be kind and help a brother out? I have delivered my share of reviews on other providers, so I would say I've done nothing that breaks the rules. Smile.

Avoid.
99% chance this is a scam and she will want a picture of the back of the card to prove it's real before meeting. At which point she can take the money and run.
If you want to buy a gift card you might use yourself and go along with it with the option to slam the brakes on and use it yourself it might be a good experiment.
Also be wary of how much information and access to your banking the gift card can be exploited to gain. I think I read somewhere that that was a vulnerability of at least one specific card type. Possibly Apple / iTunes?
So, I tried to see Mel in Brattleboro. I've seen her before, no problem, but this time I got nothing but the runaround -- she was all for meeting me in my room, then suddenly wanted to meet outside, and when I looked, I saw several people, so I got anxious about a scam (I do know people were using her as a scam previously). She eventually said she'd come over, but I never did connect with her, which was frustrating. Has anyone else noticed this?

There are some SW's though that do request gift cards to specific stores, I have done this myself many years ago with one particular SW who only wanted Macy's or Nordstrom gift cards instead of cash.
One particular kind of card you never want to use though are the Green Dot debit cards, these are debit cards that are meant to be linked to your checking account so unless you want that drained don't ever fall for giving one of them. As I understand it they are illegal in Vermont (I'm not sure exactly why though, it may be down to the fees charged as I understand it though) in any case but I've seen them for sale in NY state.

You do ask the same questions repeatedly and for the number of posts you've made, you haven't really provided much info. Take it as constructive criticism.

I send a LOT of messages to advertisers and filter what I get to look for red flags. I often make contact via multiple lines of coms (burner text app numbers and email) to get as much info as possible (see my post in general topics. General reports about names associated with emails for example [URL]http://www.usasexguide.nl/forum/showthread.php?2502-General-Reports&p=4707933&viewfull=1[/URL] #s 48 & 49). It would be nice to see you make a similar effort at some point and share the results rather than ask us to do all the recon.
Okay, thanks for the feedback folks. I will remind, however, that I posted #389 about a provider, and nobody asked any follow up. So I have tested and contributed. I've also written about Nikki in the past too. My worry was regarding conflicting stories about Layla. Who, coincodentially posted early this morning with Joleen again. Due to their early morning posts, I suspect they are on something and start to get horny when they are together late, late at night.
