Profile says NSA, FWB. When setting up a meet asks for gas money. Sent the money. No replies with texting or calling. I messaged her through SA asking what happened? She replied "huh? I said we were supposed to meet. Then she blocked me, realizing who I was. Not smart enough to keep track of who she is scamming. Normally I have stuck with what others say, no money upfront or before we meet. But gas money, not a big deal. Just giving a heads up. I reported her on SA. Not expecting them to do anything.

All the pictures that they show us online are not true until we meet them and confirm. Many profiles are fake on SA so think with head before doing any financial transactions.

I've learned to put some gateways up.
For ones I'm pretty sure are not flakes: "I'll agree to this but want to protect both my time and yours. It's really simple. Text me by noon confirming our meet. Even earlier is okay! If you don't, I won't waste time reserving a hotel or following up with you. If something comes up, tell me early, not with excuses later or just 5 minutes before. ".
For unknowns / flakes: "For this to work you'll have to text me by noon to confirm. We'll then meet at (coffee shop or bar near hotel) and I'll book the hotel and then we can head over. ".
When I do meet and greets and even before then, I reinforce how important responsiveness and respect are to me. I understand if someone can't respond because they are at work, with family, whatever. What I won't tolerate is being ghosted or lack of response when we've agreed to meet.
I usually don't give second chances but when I do, I give them some times to meet and have them organize it. They have to send me the place, confirm the day of and then be there on time. One actually did it and said it helped her understand she had to grow up.
These two have the near same exact lines, had me kind of sus tbh. Both are gorgeous women too. Almost believed the first one was legit.
